I've had my prasiolite albion ring for a little over a year and one of the diamonds fell out last week. It was fine in the morning and I noticed it was missing mid-day (no idea what caused it to fall out). I've contacted a DY rep whom I've purchased from before and was told it's $85 to send it to NY to replace the diamond (but that they don't charge you for the return shipping - how generous!). I was shocked to hear that DY doesn't stand by their products and at least offer a complimentary initial repair. I love my ring but am now afraid to wear it out of fear the diamond will fall out. Seems to be the way of the world now. Very disheartening.

I love the look of DY; however, wouldn't recommend anything with a stone or diamond that could fall out. I've had my albion ring for just over a year and one of the diamonds fell out last week. It is heartbreaking and to make matters worse DY charges you for the repair. They don't stand by their products; very disheartening.

I had a petite albion ring that I returned today and exchanged for a Lagos bracelet which I'm much happier with. The ring was gorgeous but their ring sizes are SO weird in the Albion line - I normally wear a size 7 on my middle finger and it was HUGE on me. 6 usually fits my ring finger and even that was too big, so I got a 5 as a last resort and it was TINY. It was too much of a hassle to get it sized (the DY store quoted me 8 weeks and like $80!) so as much as I liked it it just wasn't worth it. You'd think that as expensive as DY pieces are they'd repair/size them for free. I mean if we were talking about 18K gold or something it's different, but for sterling that's ridiculous.

My husband purchased my Albion ring on davidyurman.com and the store sized it for free....

I am considering purchasing the two-tone oval link necklace but I just learned that the gold links are not solid but bonded gold. I would plan to wear this piece frequently so I am worried about the gold rubbing off where the links meet. I will probably purchase on the preowned market so I can stomach the price (though still overpriced for bonded gold) if I knew that it would be durable. Does anyone have experience they can share with this piece?

If purchasing this piece is not advisable, does anyone know of a similar style that might be a better option? I really love the chunky two-tone but still elegant look. Thank you!

I have a two-tone David Yurman link bracelet with bonded gold that is probably 10 years old or older. It still looks great and I still wear it, although not daily, fairly often. I also have a few other pieces, and it's been my experience that David Yurman jewellery is very durable.

I have a dumb question about the David Yurman cable bracelets. How do you put it on? Is it through the fingers or directly over the wrist? My bracelet fits well once it’s on but it’s a little tight to put it on where my small wrist is. I can’t fight it through my fingers. I’ve heard you can bend it but is that true?
