As far as the vachetta, I have used Apple on my LV handles with great results.

I wouldn't worry about the coated canvas. Try conditioning the trim, but don't worry if some gets on the coated canvas parts- it wipes right off. The regular canvas, on the other hand, I would tape off so as not to get the conditioner on it.

As far as the Bleecker, I would go ahead and condition the leather parts (not the sueded parts, obviously). As long as you use it sparingly (you should use a soft cloth to appy it, don't ever just pour it on the leather) there is no way it would soak all the way through to the suede side.

Good luck!

I don't want to moisturize the vachetta, I want to put tape on it to protect the vachetta since it runs on either side of the leather. Is that a good idea?

Without reading every post, I did a search in this thread and couldn't find anything about textured leather, so sorry if this has already been answered, but, I just got a textured Audrey and am wondering what Apple products are safe to use on Coach's textured leather? It reminds me of the leather on my Addison and I used conditioner and Rain & Stain on it just fine, but my Audrey is a darker color and I think any defects would be more noticeable. Anybody know? TIA!

Sure, if you would rather not moisturize it then lightly cover it. I do find that the Apple did not darken my vachetta and is helping to keep it from water-spotting, though. Food for thought... ;)

Good luck! You will LOVE how soft your leather feels after a good Apple-ing.

per ehow.com
"Wipe off excess before leaving the bag to dry for at least 4 hours then buff gently with dry soft cloth"

if they are dry dry, they may need another coat...sounds like they were thirsty!

hope this helps Mr. Louis

Hello everyone!! I was wondering if any of you have Appled your Cambridge leather. It says not to use Coach Conditioner or Cleaner. But Apple is not the same----So much BETTER!! Any thoughts or feedback will be most helpful!!! Thank you!!!

I know I read about it at one time but has anyone had any experience using apple on their metallic claires or audreys ... I just got a metallic claire in amethyst but it seems like the scales in some places are bigger and going to lift :(

I have a question about apple and the kira. I finally found a kira at the outlets yesterday, yay!!!!!! But, to keep it nice I want to make sure I use the right product. I am on the website where they sell the apple products, but I only see cleaner, and apple care. Is the apple care the same as the moisturizer? I also see a kit that has everything, but I really don't need everything because I only plan on using a conditioner. TIA for any help!

Yes, Apple Care is the moisturizer/conditioner.

Ash, metallics are a fickle animal. Due to the crackled finish you may not be able to use the conditioner at all. If you feel like you need water protection you might try the Apple Guard spray, but I'm not sure that is really necessary either? No Apple product will necessarily help/change the crackled metallic finish from flaking.

I might be the only one, but I decided to use the apple care on my crackled metallic amethyst audrey. I want to do everything possible to keep the pieces from peeling, and I think this will help. I had to put it on gently because I didn't want to rub it too much, and any globs will dry with a yukky film, so I just made sure to be careful not to leave globs around the pleats. So far so good. I also did the rain and stain, because I use that on everything, and I didn't want that to dry out the pieces and cause them to bend or peel. Otherwise, I pretty much followed my same appling routine, just more gently and cautiously.

^Cz22, just keep in mind with appling of leather, metalics included, it is more important to make sure you don't over saturate the leather with the moisture... as you are supposed to 'buff' the leather after application and it dries.. but that's a bit harder to do if not impossible with leathers like that.
