I ordered a set of the Apple stuff with the cleaner, conditioner, and protectant spray. I just got the small perforated Parker Hippy and was wondering which would be the best to use to protect it from the elements? TIA!

Chasenluke, yes, this is exactly how I treat my leather. Just make sire to give the bag a few hours to dry between conditioning and spraying the Wilson's, so you can buff the leather before spraying.

MrsPink82, same for you. Condition the bag first, let it dry and then buff the leather. Then spray away with the protectant. Cleaners can sometimes be too harsh and lift dyes, so only use that in an extreme case. Good luck!

I hope this helps because sometimes people were asking about spraying lighter colors. I sprayed my gray sabrina with apple stain and rain and it came out fine...I was worried about dark stains but it didn't happen at all. I think when I put the first coat on the whole bag looked a darker gray but by the time I did a second coat it was gone and it looks just fine
HTH

I can't wait to do this on my new leather Coach arriving tomorrow or Friday! Sadly, my Apple order won't get here 'til next week, but it'll likely take me several days to decide whether I'm keeping what I receive anyway. No treatment 'til the tags come off.

Before I buy any of the apple care products, I want to check and make sure it is safe to use on my Cambridge grey leather hobo. I am looking to buy the garde spray and the conditioner. I just wanted to see if anyone has tried either on the grey leather!! Thanks so much!

I've used the spray on all sorts of stuff (bags, shoes, leather, cloth, suede) without any staining, darkening, or other problems. I plan to use it on a new Grammercy wallet in grey as soon as my order gets here. Be aware that the Rain and Stain Guard takes longer to ship. Since it's an aerosol, it can't be shipped Priority. I ordered two cans on Jan 15, and I'm still waiting on them to get here. Leatherstuff shipped immediately, but Parcel Post is taking forever.

I ordered it too - Leatherstuff said it would take from 2-9 days to ship Parcel Post.. guess it can take even longer than that!

I have something to add to this thread! I sprayed my cherry Sabrina with the apple garde and missed the fact that some of the garde had pooled around the one corner... and it looked much darker than all other parts of the bag. Naturally, I almost had a heart attack. BUT after several hours of drying, you couldn't see it at all anymore.

So in the interests of saving someone else a heart attack (if this should happen to you)-- spray away! It will be fine. And don't panic.

For those interested, I used the wilson's spray on my suede Coach boots (Maresa? embossed suede) and they've been great... through snow and rain the rubber soles do good to prevent splashing up onto the boot, and despite some slight brushes against the suede where I hit it on something, it's doing great!

REMEMBER, if you spray your suede jackets/etc/bags make sure after you expose them to the elements you clean them (brush them out) and respray before using them again.

Hi Ladies... I am most certain that this has been discussed a couple hundred times. I did a board search, but I couldnt find my specific answers. Please be patient with me...

I received my pre-loved Leigh in the mail today. AM IN LOVE. However, because she is pre-loved, she needs some extra lovin. From what I read, it seems there is an Apple spray and an Apple moisturizer?? Is this correct?? And if so, which would you guys recommend for the Leigh's leather type. And one more question....I tried to look Apple Moisturizer up on the bay, but to no avail..Can somone share a link please??

Thank you my fellow COACHIES!

I would NOT use the Apple leather cleaner on your Leigh!!!!! I did and thank goodness noticed right away that it was stripping the dye!!! It didn't hurt the bag, and I just conditioned it. Just wanted to give you a heads UP...and GOOGLE for a coupon code for Leatherstuff.com!!!!!

Thank you so much for this info. I really hate to keep sounding so darn ignorant, but...

Is there a cleaner and a conditioner then? And its ok to use the conditioner though, just not the cleaner??
