MrsPink82, same for you. Condition the bag first, let it dry and then buff the leather. Then spray away with the protectant. Cleaners can sometimes be too harsh and lift dyes, so only use that in an extreme case. Good luck!
I've used the spray on all sorts of stuff (bags, shoes, leather, cloth, suede) without any staining, darkening, or other problems. I plan to use it on a new Grammercy wallet in grey as soon as my order gets here. Be aware that the Rain and Stain Guard takes longer to ship. Since it's an aerosol, it can't be shipped Priority. I ordered two cans on Jan 15, and I'm still waiting on them to get here. Leatherstuff shipped immediately, but Parcel Post is taking forever.
I would NOT use the Apple leather cleaner on your Leigh!!!!! I did and thank goodness noticed right away that it was stripping the dye!!! It didn't hurt the bag, and I just conditioned it. Just wanted to give you a heads UP...and GOOGLE for a coupon code for Leatherstuff.com!!!!!
