Just bought some Apple today at burlington Coat factory and it was $4.95 for 8oz.! Such a great deal and it made my new plum Carly look amazing. So much better than the coach conditioner.
It should lighten back up as it dries.I've ordered both Apple cleaner and conditioner from the day-planner site.
Conditioned my 07 legacy shoulder bag which is walnut coloured, it made it a shade darker. I don't mind this and kind of like it but does anybody know if it will lighten up as it dries or overtime?
Dont have a metallic bag but from reading this whole thread I would not use it on metallics.Has anyone treated a metallic bag (Copper Zoe in this case) or is it better to leave it alone? Thanks for any info!

Walnut might be more prone to darkening as the scratches on it show up easier (I did condition my Luci and didn't see a HUGE color change) but it takes time for it to soak into the leather and be absorbed and dry.I've ordered both Apple cleaner and conditioner from the day-planner site.

I wait atleast 30 min (or longer if suede takes longer to dry) between garde sprays, but put atleast 2 coats on, but normally spray it AFTER i condition and have let it dry over night. How long do I have to wait between conditioning and spraying?
I have rain guarded my plat. bridgit, and have also done the same to my metallic-ish gunmetal peyton, saw no color rubbing off with my hands, nor did I see any darkening of the material after it had time to dry. Have not worn either yet, but I'll probably make sure to give them a second coat before I use them.Has anyone treated a metallic bag (Copper Zoe in this case) or is it better to leave it alone? This is something I've seen on a lot of the exterior coated shiny items, including bags like the embossed faux croc peyton... where if you rub to hard it will ruin the "shiney" coat finish they apply on the outside of the leather to help seal it and give it the appearance desired.Does anyone know if apple will get rid of the weird bald spots on the bag? I have this part of my bag that's "non-shiny" now maybe cause I was scrubbing at a stain there (I doubt it though cause I'm pretty gentle even when I clean). I want to at least get it to be uniformly shiny even if the mark/stain doesn't come out.
Thanks!
