Anyone Tired of Twillies and Not Afraid to Say It?

Never used a twilly on a bag in my life. Although I don't really hate them on others bags, but it's not for me.

I can appreciate a twilly on a bag, but I have never used one myself. I have a friend who can wrap/tie a twilly to perfection and they look great on her bags. I know if I even tried to make it look nice it would look like a toddler wrapped my bag handles. I think twillies can look nice and add a pop of colour. If it makes a person happy that is all that matters. I used to hate bag charms and now I can't get enough of them. Coach makes so many amazing ones that I have amassed quite a collection. I do love looking at the Coach twilly offerings and I even own one. Most likely it will get used as a fun hair tie, but that is mostly because I could never tie one on a bag properly.

I just used the same twilly in grey to thread my daughters drawstring bag. The leather pull was too stiff for her to use so a twilly worked perfectly. For me, it was purely functional. Cant find that to be pretentious.

Hmm. I’ve never seen a twilly/bandeau and thought it was pretentious. I personally prefer to wear them as a bracelet as I don’t think it suits any of my current handbags. I’m not tired of them tho. I enjoy seeing them on other people’s handbags.

I'm not tired of twillies, but I have never liked the look. Each to his/her own. I always wondered if the LVs with the twillies on the handles ended up with lighter colored vachetta than the rest of the trim.
