Anyone Tired of Twillies and Not Afraid to Say It?

Oh my goodness, this whole seven page thread...!!! I agree that I came across as contentious, and I did not mean to offend so many people. I agree that that I could have stated my opinion in a different way. But these resulting comments over an overpriced scarf... wow!!!. And I'm not "trolling." Those who think they come here seeking "escape" and "rejuvenation" and yet post every bag that they buy each day, expecting to be lauded after...that's the real laugh.

What's the matter with posting every bag they buy? Isn't that the main purpose of the forum?

It is, I enjoy looking at what people buy. Many of us do not have the time to go to a store and physically touch and see an item, seeing it here is great especially since Coach is so known for their accuracy in their marketing photos

Anyways, saving you the time to look it up, here’s what Purseblog is all about (directly from their webpage):

Come now, when you made this topic weren't you expecting to feel the same way? Or were you expecting the whole community to bow at your feet and agree with your sentiment? This is the purse forum, not the Coach Cruiser forum. Might as well change your name to "anti-twilly-anti-purse-picture-poster" or something like that.

Honestly, I dislike having twillies on a bag, too. But I wouldn't make a whole topic arguing about it. Sometimes it's better to keep these opinions to yourself.

What do you mean?
You're the one who started this thread over an overpriced scarf. That's why people are conversing about an overpriced scarf here. You started an emotionally charged statement, so to speak. So people are gonna react emotionally.
That's called being human.
We are emotional.
And that's how people make buying decisions too... emotionally. Why else do you think we buy expensive handbags when we can logically buy cheaper bags?
Plus the Purseforum IS about all things purses(expensive and cheap) ... including scarves(since people use them on their purses).
That's why people post about bags they just purchased. But there are other threads and forums here that don't even mention anything about purses.
If you don't like people revealing their bags and such, maybe stay away? Just a suggestion.:idea:

And yet, when I search the threads that you yourself have created, at a quick first glance, you've created at least 15-20 "reveal" threads in the Coach, Tiffany, Kate Spade, Dior, Saint Laurent, Fendi, Balenciaga, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Celine, Jimmy Choo, Chloe, Michael Kors, and Chanel forums, at least one in each of those, and that's just in the first 3 pages of 15 pages of search results....
