Anyone received the Feather Charm?

While I was picking mine up at the store today, one of the SA's said that she kept trying to order it herself, but the computer still refused. I told to her to try calling Jax directly. :shrugs: I really don't know, it's behaving so oddly.

One amusing thing I've noticed is that while neither of the black tags have the word "Coach" embossed, one does have "made in China" embossed on it while the other does *not*. Somehow I find that amusing. I also took them off the ball-chain ... I've always had a paranoia about the strength of those things, so I restrung all the bits onto one keyring (even strung the ball-chain onto the keyring), and the set is now residing on my black Kristin until I finally decide what I think of the new line. Still just not sure. :thinkin:

It looks so good on your Kristin! She's so pretty!

Looks great on your Kristin! :smile1:

Woot! Finally success! Turns out I was using the incorrect style no. posted here. The 3 and 7 were transposed. I'm glad the agent took the time to look up the item name.

A little more feather fob info and some more pictures - (repeating a bit to consolidate) - the fob with the leather feather and ball chain is $50. & the stock # is 63713G. The hardware & metal feather on this one are a shiny black.

The all-metal fob is about 6" long and quite substantial, with gold and a matte gunmetal feather, chain, and clip. The stock # for it is 63598G ($60.00). Pics:

Nutrihuney is right -- it's 63713G for the leather feather charm, I misplaced the numbers in my post yesterday! Oops! Thanks, Nutrihuney!

I received my feather charm today ($50 size) and wow!! I wish I had ordered the $60 one as well!! I was told by SA on Saturday the same that had been rumored here (she was telling me about it-I told her I ordered and she stated I was lucky) that they were not allowed to sell these!! Said I better hold on to it.....

Could someone clear up what's going on with these fobs? It seems that most can buy either a $50 or $60 version, but then others say (and I've heard an SA say) that some of them are being GIVEN away as free gifts with particular purchases?! (What is that all about?!)

Thanks in advance for any clarification!

Me too. It sounds like no one told the CS reps at Jax not to sell these. Also the G at the end of the style, does this indicate gift?

I just called my store and they said it was gift to select customers only. Could someone please share where they were able to get this. I have to order it since I am not near a store. Thanks!

I just called the toll free number on Coach.com and ordered the metal one too....my leather one arrived today. I might give one of these to my daughter for Christmas as she is very bohemian and think she would like this. I love the leather one (got it today) but I don't understand quite why they did not engrave "Coach" on at least one of the hangtags though

He addressed this issue at the debut of his inaugural collection.

On bags, he included reworkings of the label’s signature turn-locks and hangtags (“These I did without branding, just blind, so it’s more of a symbol”). “Transformation is faster if there’s something familiar,” he concluded as the show lights dimmed, “something that people can connect with.”

Oh good grief!!! I appreciate your reply and providing the info so this is not in any way directed at ChanelChap. But I hate when designers get all uppity and artistic. I still laugh at paintings hung in major museums in NYC with just a painted white canvas :) While I think moving away from bags with Cs all over the place, I still think people want some sort of brand recognition, even if its just the horse and carriage on a hangtag
