Anyone received the Feather Charm?

What number are you calling to place the order? I have used the 888-262-6224. When I called last night the rep said it was sold out after searching a few systems. The rep I spoke with tonight said that the style was invalid and that I needed to use style no. from the website. What?


Yup same here, I asked if they had it in stock and they said yes. Got an order confirmation email just not shipping yet so thought it odd when I could not look up my order via the order number and zip code.
 
I bought the $60 one and it looks great on my new large crossbody dakota. I like how substantial it is. It really adds to the bag's look.
 
A little more feather fob info and some more pictures - (repeating a bit to consolidate) - the fob with the leather feather and ball chain is $50. & the stock # is 67313G. The hardware & metal feather on this one are a shiny black.

The all-metal fob is about 6" long and quite substantial, with gold and a matte gunmetal feather, chain, and clip. The stock # for it is 63598G ($60.00). Pics:

Coach is so stupid. People actually want this feather fob and are willing to pay full price for it, but they won't sell them. And they are going to further alienate loyal customers by offering the fobs to select customers as a gift.

If the black fobs are selling out, why wouldn't they make them in a slew of colors and different variations of feathers? I'm sure they would sell well.

Not only that, but someone said they had cancelled store customer orders for the fobs because they were to be promotional gifts?
Get a clue Coach! Don't cancel customer orders unless impossible to fill. If you want to give them away, give them to the customers who ordered them in the first place.

Do they not realize what a hit they have on their hands? And with Christmas in the not so distant future, those would be selling like crazy mad. Ohhh, and in more colors too, that would be perfect!

Maybe they need a balance though, between making more, in different colors, and making huge amounts of 10 more variations in 12 colors each and then sending the leftovers to FOS and the outlets….

While I was picking mine up at the store today, one of the SA's said that she kept trying to order it herself, but the computer still refused. I told to her to try calling Jax directly. :shrugs: I really don't know, it's behaving so oddly.

One amusing thing I've noticed is that while neither of the black tags have the word "Coach" embossed, one does have "made in China" embossed on it while the other does *not*. Somehow I find that amusing. I also took them off the ball-chain ... I've always had a paranoia about the strength of those things, so I restrung all the bits onto one keyring (even strung the ball-chain onto the keyring), and the set is now residing on my black Kristin until I finally decide what I think of the new line. Still just not sure. :thinkin:

I called Jax and my order is "in the warehouse" They say I should get a shipping confirmation Monday....crossing fingers. Hate paying the $10 extra to ship it but since everyone said the store could not order them did not want to miss it.


Also my store is a flagship and said they are not having any special event to launch the line.

Maybe it has to do with the Coach backstage event in NY?

It'll come. :) I had ordered at the beginning of the Labor Day weekend, so for days-on-end it said "in the warehouse" whenever I'd check on-line.
