Did they run out? I was just told either only flagship stores have them, or only "select orders/customers" receive these. Either way, very annoying...going to get one more Vevers bag, and then will cut down future purchases from this fiasco.

I think she means King of Prussia. They used to have two boutiques. (Do they still have two now, or have they closed one? I know the one across from Vuitton is still there, and has actually moved closer to Vuitton. Don't know about the one in the Court though.).
Baglady, is KOP a flagship? Plaza or Court? That would be news to me.

It was stated by some SA's and CS's that the leather feather set was/is supposed to come with some bags and with other bags it would be a free gift while supplies last......which is NOT a good idea anyway.....but because people were purchasing them their supply dwindled down to only a few hundred.
So instead of just selling off the remaining feather fobs so that most everyone had a chance to get one, they are only allowing 'select' purchases at 'select' stores by 'select' customers to get a free set, thereby further alienating customers, making them mad and causing downright hurt feelings over those damn pieces of leather.
And we're not even going to get into the fact that it seems that the US customers weren't supposed to get any of the metal feather fobs either......

It's less than an hour from me and is my goto place for a number of products. But I never understood why they have two Coach boutiques. Plus Macy's, plus L&T, plus Bloomies, plus Nords. Not to mention Limerick right up the road. You'd think it would be way too much Coach competition. 
I guess I can understand the department stores in proximity ... even the outlet. It's like that at another local mall too. But having two boutiques? I would have thought surely *one* of them would have closed, with their big "70 stores are closing" campaign. .... I know they went to the trouble of moving one of them a few doors up the hallway to sit literally across from LV, but I'm amazed the one over near Bloomies would still be there too..

I wonder how many they made, how many they kept in USA, and how many were actually purchased directly from Jax before they caught on.
When I went to pick the leather one up (I had mine shipped to the store instead of to my house), one of the SAs was talking about that email the stores received, telling them not to sell it. And I'm certain she stated that "32 were sold and shouldn't have been". I don't know where she got that number from, but it had to have come from corporate. ..... That was on Saturday, Sep 6 ... after people had started having problems placing orders through Jax, but before kmiller's UPS truck got turned around.
I'm sure a few orders were able to get through after that, but my point is that this is still a relatively low number. Which then begs the question, how many did they even reserve for the US?

Yeah, I knew you were down near Philly. I think I actually passed you once at Limerick, way back when, but you wouldn't have known me.
I'm in PA, and have about four of the outlets that I'm willing to drive to (I think I have a shorter 'willing to drive' distance though ). I've actually been to AC three times in the last couple years too, but never actually set foot in the outlet. We got stuck spending most of those days at "conventions" in the Sheraton and Tropicana. (Yes, I know. But it wasn't my choice. Big, big, sigh.).
