Anyone received the Feather Charm?

I'm so over this feather charm ($50). It was out for delivery today and all the sudden it was cancelled and coach requested return to sender. I'm so annoyed! They also cancelled the $60 charm as well :(


That's just NOT right! :tdown:

Even if they were determined to get the leather feather back, why didn't they just turn around and at least send you the $60 one. There's no hold on them as I understand it. I just ordered two of the $60 ones this morning and am now wondering if it's going to get cancelled.
 
It lookes like Coach really messed up with this promotion ( them feathers should of been gifts to some special customers, which is by itself is also messed up, in my opinion of course) Coach succeeded in confusing themselves and their customers, AGAIN....not the first time and guessing not the last...I agree with CoachCruiser, they should of just attached the damn things to all the new line of Vevers bags!!!

I'm SO sorry that happened to you! I would be mad and frustrated, that's not right when it's almost at your house.

I ordered the Dakotah crossbody in light blue and it is supposed to come with the feather charm, but even the SA at the FP store was confused about it due to the email received by all stores saying this charm will be a gift w/purchase promotion. Anyways, I called CS and they told me that the crossbody Dakota is the only bag that will come with the charm as part of the design and some of the elevated rhyders will qualify to receive the charm as a gift w/purchase yet the charm is not part of the actual bag design :thinkin: so maybe it will be only a limited time gift and/or you will get it only if you buy the bag at the FP coach store? it's confusing and I don't know what to think of it, maybe it is just a way for Coach to try to get people to buy the bags at FP instead that at department stores as you won't get the charm otherwise...with Coach you never know, only time will tell :weird:
 
That is ridiculous that they did return to sender. And probably means more people will have the same thing happen. I may still try to order the $60 one, But it seems less and less likely that people will be able to get these. Coach definitely screwed up. And are both the $50 and $60 supposedly a GWP? What would qualify someone for one vs. the other?
 
So sorry that this is happening. I received my $50. Charm on Monday. I thought it strange that it was packed wrapped in tissue paper in a gift box with bow instead of in a sealed plastic bag with the style number. Now I am just thrilled that I received it. I do love it and have been using it since it arrived. For Coach to cancel orders already shipped is just inexcusable. Coach needs a hot product and in my opinion these feather charms are obviously in demand and should be offered on their website with a part number for all to order.
 
Well I think Coach is just messing with me now. As of 2:00 they put a hold on the package and UPS is showing that it's getting delivered to me tomorrow now. When I check my order status it still says returned. I highly doubt I'll get it but I'll keep everyone posted. Fingers crossed!

If it was me I would speak with a manager in JAX customer service and ask why you are being treated like this when others such as myself ordered and received the same item. This just seems like bad business to me. JMO.

Hope you receive the charm and am wishing you luck. Just think that this is nonsense and Coach should not be treating loyal customers like this.

I knew that I was lucky, but I didn't realize how lucky until kmiller_41's post.

I tried to order and got nowhere. I contacted a friend and fellow tpf'er and somehow she made it happen. She ordered 2, she got them and I received mine in the mail today. So if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have one either.

HERE'S TO YOU MY FRIEND, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! :ghi5:

That is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Just called back and they still said they weren't allowed to sell them. Gave me a $25 gift card for my inconvenience...whatever.
You should have told the CS rep... "No thanks, but how about sending me one of those "free gift" feather charms for my troubles!" :laugh:
