l’d be lying if I said I didn’t think her pieces are overpriced... I’m taking a break from buying from her for a while. Hopefully there won’t be another price increase if I decide to get something later on, but who knows...

That aside, there are many cheap knock-offs made of lower quality materials that are obviously trying to capitalize off her success by creating similar designs... though there are a few who weren’t/aren’t and just happen to sell carabiners, in addition to other items (Jessica Kagan Cushman comes to mind; plenty of folks copy her designs too, sadly enough).

Her prices are high. I only have two locks, one silver and one gold. One day I hope to get a gold star lock but her prices jump a lot.

Yeah, I want a letter lock too! Silpada has a silver version at a MUCH better price... I’m wondering if itll be enough to keep me from buying Marla’s gold one.

Well, I ended up spending way too much time this weekend looking at Marla Aaron pieces on Instagram and ended up ordering a biker chain in blackened silver. I have some lock dupes to wear with it. If I end up liking the look, I will probably be forced to upgrade the locks to the real stuff! It doesn’t bode well for my wallet!

I love her and her locks! The moon lock is beautiful! Here is my MA this morning. I have a few of her locks, “S” (my name is Sunny too!), starlock, baby lock, and chubby baby (pictured), hanging from my chubby baby are two itty bitty hearts with my sons’ initials on the backs.

beautiful! thank you for sharing :) do y’all purchase your chains from marla aaron as well? her chains feel a bit overpriced to me so i’m looking at some other compatible options
