Anybody have any real life experience with Deadly Ponies bags?

It really is. I wonder if bubble lamb is different from shrunken lamb. I remember googling bubble lamb after I bought this bag ( from another member here) and I think it said this was a French technique...nope it is the same. Just looked it up again.

My other option is to wait and put the money towards a pre-loved higher-end bag...

(Sorry, I just realized you only asked for a shoulder shot!) Also a shot of what’s in my bag. I carry a moderate amount and you can see it fits that and there’s ample room for more.

Leather quality wise, how does it compare to The Row (muchstuff) and Massaccesi verona (southernbelle)?

Mr.Octo is extremely comfortable and not too heavy for a bag of its size. With that much leather it does have some weight to it. It does not feel like Verona to me though. Verona feels thicker and more sturdy if that makes sense. I gifted it to a friend’s daughter but have been tempted to buy the smaller one that they designed after I bought mine, of course. The regular was too big for me.
