the globe has more than one size. there is definitely a small and a medium. the bellevue is really nice but too big for what i carry. it looks great. i think the la belle is a bigger bellevue but not really sure. hth. i would love to know more as well since i seem to have a lp/ globe addiction.

Thanks for the information, I am quite interested in getting one too but sales assistant is very vague in terms of sizes and knowledge of leathers. I find that TPF is more informative. Also, do they all have contrasting stitching?

i agree re sales assistants. i think they are more focused on the textiles which seems to be what loro piana is really known for. i love the bags but unlike hermes; the forum isn't as full of knowledge.

i thought that all the bags had contrast stitching unless it was a special order but then i saw a globe with the same color stitching for sale so i guess they don't. needless to say i want that bag. i wish there was more info out there for us.

I have spoken to a few sa and have found out that the fall season is using a new odessa leather which is lighter than fjord. Also the new season does not have contrast stitching.

I have never been but my sales associate says that it's worth going if you're mainly interested in the cashmeres. Leather selection will be limited to older collections that have sat on shelves. Hoping to find some outwear for my husband and the boys.

just came back from the sample sale in nyc. no invite needed and no line. lots of scarves/pashminas 40% off retail.
mens & womens apparel, 50% off retail
fur wraps, coats and jckets in furs, fur lined, suede, fur hats...
lots of simple sandals, a few pumps and boots, flats
knitwear is 50% off retail
a few hats, some belts, slgs
oh, the throws are beautiful and cashmere and very luxe.
last but not least, small section of bags, travel sized duffle, toile/leather combos, a few picotin like smaller bags, mostly in lighter colors, one or two in etoupe and ebene colors.
everything is still expensive, but if u love LP, 50% off is really good deal.
if u are looking for cold weather accessories and coats, they have such luxe fabrics and very warm coats.
their kids sized jackets are super nice.
also selling fabrics.
