beachtime- i have a couple of h bags also and can't say anything negative about h but i am enjoying the globe and defo want to get more.
hope you decide to get one and can't wait to see what you pick; which styles are you considering?
I'm peeking out from the H side too, but I can't seem to find any pics other than the globe; no luck with the official website -- is it me?
I think there's somewhat of a selection of leathers/exotics for the pouchettes; I think they are only available in the US, if that matters...
I'm interested in hearing how you like them annie9999; when I took a look at the one with the strap on top and the zipper on the side, the only one available on my trip to the boutique, it seemed a bit conflicted about what it wanted to be -- a clutch/mini purse like some of the Hermes kelly clutches, or a small pouch for inside your bag. It was really too small for the former and ok for the latter purpose. How is it working for you?

so far i love everything. so much so that i got another medium globe in the soft leather in a really light blue- very close to the h ceil. i'll post some pictures tomorrow. i think the globe came in a lot of colors and leathers. you can also custom order which i would love to do if my love affair with lp continues.
the wallet is great and i am enjoying the pouch to hold the small stuff inside my bag. i was even thinking of picking up the smaller one but i don't know how useful it would be. i have a real weakness for accessories but they can really add up so i am trying to be more careful.

i just love this blue color. i love blue but have trouble getting just the right blue to go with everything. i think this blue is really neutral. i am nervous about dirt and color transfer but am determined to use it and not worry.

luxwear- yes, it is grain touch leather. what do you know about grain touch? seems more delicate than the fjord (which i love). i have not been babying the grain touch but have avoided rain. any info would be appreciated.
the weight seems about the same as my fjord globe. the grain touch bag is slightly bigger and without the canvas although it isn't fully lined in leather. some of the inside is just the rough inside of the leather. i think it sort of balances out the heavier fjord. i'll weigh them empty when i have time.

wow, it's been awhile since I visited this thread...glad to see more fans of LP. Now that I'm doing more research on h, it's interesting to see the similarities in the leathers btwn the two. Good to know my globe is made of fjord. no wonder it withstands rain, snow, anything and everything so far.

randr21- thanks, i love fjord also. good to know the fjord globe is so durable. i have a fjord bolide and it is also quite strong. the bolide is really structured while the globe is less so and the blue grain touch is actually quite slouchy.
do you have any info on the grain touch leather? which h leather is it similar to?
