went to lp yesterday and it was great. saw the new bags- dee one, dee two and the aglaia. i loved the aglaia and am going back to see the lighter color.

i did not come home empty handed. will post pictures later.

I would say it does make it slightly heavier but nothing major. I always pack my bag with the essentials ie...wallet, cosmetic case, sunglass case, paddle brush, cell and a few misc items. I find it comfortable. I however always use them in tote form. I don't really care for it with the ends tucked in. I have other bags that are much much more heavier. The straps are comfortable. :D

Beautiful Globe bag - it will be a classic that will last forever! Also - wonderful color on the pouch and wallet. I think I have the same wallet, just in a natural leather (similar to Barenia of Hermes). It's great for travelling and has just gotten better looking with use....
As for interiors being discussed. My Globes have twill linings with leather accents....I posted a pic of one of my interiors because I thought it was so lovely - will try to re-post.

thanks longchamp; so far loving the globe. i especially love all the pockets. very user friendly and comfortable to carry. not too heavy.

hi kroquet and thanks. i have to go back to the outlet; haven't been in a long time. their leather is amazing but their scarfs and rtw are also tdf.

hi LT, sbelle and kroquet- thanks for coming over to see my globe. i am really loving it although lp can never totally replace bv in my heart.

kroquet- a purple lp sounds tdf.
