Hello ladies, bumping this thread! I would love to see modeling pics of the LP Globe bags, it's hard to get a feel for the size in proportion to a human body from the stock pics!

I am not a fan, but I found a modelling picture. This is the medium size (looks already pretty big to me).

I do like the bags, but never like them enough to pull the trigger on one. They are very simple and elegant, but expensive. If I decide to spend that kind of money, I am always drawn elsewhere.

I have no clue about Loro Piana bags, but I was in a LP boutique a couple of weeks ago, and their shawls/wraps are TO DIE FOR!! The fabric, the weave, the softness... just heaven. This was true excellence of craftsfmanship, really unbellievable. When I get so rich that I can shop without looking at pricetags, I will buy many Loro Piana wraps. Until then, I will dream...

LP bags are expensive and in my eyes are the tops! however people will find it hard to spend that kinda money on LP because it doesn't have the bling factor of Hermes or Chanel. It is definitely an age thing too. if you like discreet glamour and the highest quality then LP all the way.

I have this exact bag in large...bought it a few years ago and it's a classic. not to say it's a perfect bag, but i do plan on keeping it forever.

ITA! Their wraps are heavenly and I've found nothing that compares to them except for hugs from my hubby. :)

All I know is that I love their cashmere!!

Just an FYI for those visiting Paris, there is now a Loro Piana outlet shop in the La Vallée Village outlet shopping center!!! I'll go there sometime in october...

I only know that my husband wears this brand and it is very happy with it.

I didn't know that they had handbags and just checked their website. what lovely bags. and I love Roe's bag.

I love Loro Piana -- both bags and clothing! I was wondering if anyone else did. I have one medium globe, and three mini globes. One of the mini's is brown ostrich and I love it! I also have 3 other styles. The globe is really comfortable and functional. It's funny -- I see that other's in this thread compare LP to Tod's. I happen to love Tod's as well. I also like Bottega Veneta, Nancy Gonzalez and Nuti. That's about it. I'm not much into logo's but more interested in great quality.
I'm still loving all of my lp bags - Since my last post my collection has grown. I have 2 my bags and a medium fjord globe. Now I want a Globe in natural Barenia....
My last trip to London I saw a cream croc Globe....really pretty!

In Italy, Loro Piana is famous mainly for cashemire. I did not even know they made bags until I saw them for sale ... in the US - which I found weird.

I second this. I'm Italian and didn't know of the existence of these bags until I bumped into one that was for sale on EBay. Looking back, I really regret not bidding on it, since it was a beautiful tote. Unfortunately, I don't even know the name of that bag..it wasn't the Globe, the shape was different, but the style was similar.

Hope some of you will contribute to this thread by posting some modelling pics/personal experience with this brand, since I'm finding myself increasingly attracted by it.. I must stop splurging on bags, but the idea of getting one of these is very intriguing ;)

Was it the My bag? No putside pocket....kind of like a bucket that could wing out?

Looking back, I think it was the Bellevue. Actually, it could even have been a large Globe with the 'wings' not pulled towards the inside, if you get what I mean. Not being an expert, I probably wasn't able to recognize it at first...

Which one is the My Bag? Do you have any pics?

This is the MY Bag....there are some pics of celebs carrying Bellevues on other threads - have you seen them? I love that bag too!
