Any guesses or speculation for Hedi’s 1st collection?

Those quilted bags do really look cheap, and boring. I feel no urge for owning them. I much rather buy Furlas new quilted-ish bags. To me those looks more nice (and for a lower price.)

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I do like the Triomphe bag
I have this vintage Celine necklace that has the the same double C design and I do have a soft spot for vintage style, so I've been seriously contemplating if I should get this new Celine bag or not

Quilted bags would have been better in different colours also if craftsmanship was shown properly. Atm they look so cheap. Why is HS doing it to the brand, is he trying to sabotage it?! What is going on here?

I don't think that's an unpopular opinion at all. 16 bag and its huge PR push aside, of the slew of new designs introduced, the Triomphe seems to be the best received for its vintage flair.

Also, NEW CELINE has allegedly been paying for positive comments on social media while simultaneously deleting the waves of negative comments. Execs are allegedly furious to the Old Céline backlash. The brand is purportedly having issues getting editors and buyers to come to press days, and some buyers have supposedly cancelled orders that were placed after the initial showroom viewing.

I noticed the deletion of negative comments immediately following Hedi's debut collection. My comment on the brand's IG (which was pretty tame - I just said something like "No wonder Hedi has a passion for music since he's a broken record himself") got deleted almost immediately, and then I kept refreshing the post and could see other comments being deleted. Not all of the negative comments were being deleted (maybe there were too many to keep up with, or maybe the social media team's policy was to not erase all negative comments in case it was too obvious), but definitely a decent number of them.

Interesting. I have been a Celine buyer for a long time. I went into the Sydney Celine store yesterday with trepidation as I am no fan of what HS has done to the spirit of the brand ... but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there were 2 bags I did really like in person - the small 16 bag, and the triomphe.

This is the only bag from Hedi I'd even consider, but I still prefer the Box bag's clasp to this one. I just love how understated and subtle that one is.

I just came back from my local Celine store and have to say that the Triomphe is definitely very beautiful. My favourite model has always been the Classic and visited the store to check if they had it in Amazone colour. The SA also showed me the Amazone Triomphe and surprisingly the colour seems to be more beautiful and rich on Triomphe's shiny calfskin (at least to me). Now I am really torn between the two models, because as much as I love the simple and subtle design of the Classic bag, I just can't get over how gorgeous the shade of green is on Triomphe. Though, I have to say that I am not a big fan of the new shiny clasp.
Also, I noticed that the SA was trying very hard to persuade me to choose the Triomphe over the Classic. He told me that many customers have bought the Triomphe already and it's going to be their most popular bag soon, as they predict (however, I'm not sure how true it is, as I mostly hear negative comments about new bags by Slimane everywhere).
