Any brand you are falling out of love with? If so, why?

I totally agree with you on the Treesje bags I brought my first and last one 3 weeks ago and when I took it out the first time the stitching came undone on both of the tassels on the sides of the bag the cotton was so thin and cheap it won't be long before the whole bag falls apart very poor quality.

It seems every where I look there is a Coach bag. I really want to find a purse that is great but doesn't advertise its name by the look or a big name plate on it like so many do now. Any suggestions of a purse with great quality and look but nobody can tell what it is? I think it is nice to be mysterious sometimes. :)

Definitely fallen out of love with LV. Just not my taste anymore-too many monograms and too much "here I am, I'm a Louis Vuitton". I'd rather have something that is a little more understated but beautiful at the same time. I still carry my LV's every once in a while just to take them out of the dust bag but I def don't feel the love for them that I once did.

I'm on the coach bandwagon, I did briefly fall for after seeing the f/w 2011 previews. But once I saw them IRL they were such a letdown. I did purchase a wristlet & a keychain I think SGLs and some of their key chains/fobs are pretty much all I'll purchase from them anymore. I used to love LV then fell out and now I'm back in love lol. I like more of the damier bags and the leather bags over the mono. I think the mono is what I really got sick of more than anything. I can't stand mono on any line anymore I used to like it now that I'm older(30) I no longer desire to be a walking advertisement. I tend to like bags that are more under the radar now. I was a Bal junkie but I have now paired down to only two in colors I simply adore, sadly they aren't getting much use and i feel like i should sell them. I fell for them hard but for the most part of them I'm kind of over them. I'm sure I'll get some SGLs in the future but I'm not sure about a bag. I am slightly tempted by the holiday line because it's chevre however it's higher priced than the regular bags so I can't justify it. The quality isn't what I expect from a four figure bag and they show wear WAY too quickly. I feel like most designers are having repeated price increases while lowering the quality of their products. It's making it hard for me to find something I like/want even though I would like to get a new bag.

Chanel is just as obnoxious as Coach. Probably even more recognizable. Coach has a lot of non-siggy styles, they're probably less recognized than a Chanel bag by the average person on the street.

I never owned a Chanel, but I do not care for the style. I agree about the siggy C's.
I do have a Coach and the one I have is all leather with no siggy. Just not for me.

Coach. Used to be a big fan cos I think it offers great quality for the money. But I find that the designs in recent years fail to appeal to me. Furthermore it seems so common nowadays as I see almost everyone is carrying a Coach (I am talking about genuine, not including fakes yet.) Hope they can come up with something more premium with wow factor soon.

I wouldn't buy a new Coach, except for a vintage Coach Willis.

I read somewhere ... maybe in this thread ... about how bad the Coach outlet stores were. I visited one in Houston this weekend and every signature Coach was on sale for 50% off, then some other % off after that. The store was hot and smelled like bad body odor. The place was packed. People were grabbing anything and everything with a logo on it. There had to be at least 100 people in line to pay. This one poor girl was trying on shoes and was trampled by 5-6 people. I just walked out.

The price point for at least 95% of the purses in the store was under $50. Now I get why so many people I see around me are wearing Coach -- signature Coach specifically.

There should have been a poll to go along with this thread , it would have been interesting to see the figure/bar rise on which certain brands . ;)

Can't really say any brand because I know that somehow I will always go back to it sometime. I guess I agree with everyone about Coach, since you see if everywhere... but I guess I can't say I don't like it, since I just bought one... hehe~ But, then again I was never really in love with it.. just kind of bought things here and there that I liked..

Chanel... prices are out of whack and the quality has decreased instead of increased... sticking to my vintage Chanels for now.. I know I will be priced right out of it very soon
