Im down to only 3 Coach bags and in all honesty, I still love my patent Ruby Red Sophia as its a stunning colour. But, my black leather Maggie, I've seen her everywhere and on Colleauges (after I had one). It turned me off, then I started noticing everyone has Coach, its like mass production now and just messy.

My off white Tribeca Tote was very nice when new but has tons of colour transfer on the back , so I use it as a summer "tossing around bag".

I had an issue with a limited edition poppy and the store would not give me a refund but a store credit. I told dh there is no way Im getting another Coach purse as now I've upgraded (I got a Chanel this week) so what am I going to do with a coach store credit?

He said, shoes? And shoes I got! I got a new fall bootie and I was shocked at how comfortable they are!

Maybe use a store credit for shoes? We can always use more shoes!

i agree with many of you...coach is definitely becoming less desirable to me. i see it everywhere i go now! i only have a couple coach purses so it's not too much of a loss for me...now i can save up to finally buy the chanel purse of my dreams :)

I am no longer in love with LV, Gucci and Coach..but who knows, I may fall back in love again;) Too much exposure to these bags, everyone I see in the shops, at work, at school seem to have these bags.

My sentiments exactly which is why I went for Givenchy, Fendi Peek-A-Boo and Celine - i know i know alot of people own em but at least it's not as common as the unholy trinity of LV, Gucci and Coach.

Fallen out of love with LV. It's not even leather-it's canvas! Why pay so much for a canvas bag? And the part that is leather gets so dirty. I also hate that so many people have them. Real and fakes. I've sold almost all my bags-still have one left to sell-and plan on keeping the pomme Houston. At least it's a leather bag, right?

Although I love the bags- the look, style, etc., I have had more repairs to them then I care to admit (often on the same bag!) But year after year I find myself buying them and my husband is not too happy about my complaints afterwards!

There is one thing I do not get.

If I fall out of love with a bag, it is because I am over the style. That is a me thing. Most of what I read people no longer loving your bag because you see other people with them?

So forgive me.. I just do not understand that. If you love a bag, then you should love it right? What does it matter if other people have it? Why would that make you not like your bag anymore? If I paid good money for it and I love it... then I love it. Seeing someone else with it would only make me think that other people love the same style too.

I know you posted this a while ago, but I'm one of these people too. Seeing bags looking gorgeous on other people draws me in; it doesn't send me running. I'm sure a lot of others feel the same way, too.

Adding to my list of falling out of loves...

Treesje. I have been eyeing them since 2009 and finally took the plunge late last year. First time I carried the bag the zipper busted and one of the handles tore. This bag was full, yes, but not to the point of being overstuffed nor was it housing anything particularly heavy. Never again.

BV. Thought this would be my holy grail of bag brands but it's nothing particularly special to me. The bag designs are too plain and simple for my liking and I feel like I could get something with the same quality and design for a fraction of the price. I should sell the one I still have; love the colour but not feeling anything else about it.

I haven't fallen out of love with Balenciaga but I doubt I will purchase again. The bags are high maintenance with some colors fading badly and many bags end up with dirty handles (which really turns me off). Balenciaga does not appear to be customer service friendly at all, after you own a bag, if you encounter problems you are on your own. This seems ridiculous to me (and short sited on their part) especially as the bags are expensive and they keep raising the price.
