Have to revive this thread to get something off of my chest, so to speak.

I am definitely falling OUT of love with Rebecca Minkoff (yet again). I have a true hot & cold relationship with this brand...usually we are on the outs around the Holidays and through the spring months, but then I relent and return for pre-fall. My displeasure with RM is inevitably due to the brand's horrid customer service during the rush of the winter sample sales (including their Black Friday online sale, which is always a disaster).

Even though the bags themselves are generally lovely, and in all fairness the quality control on them has improved in the past year, I still can't get over the lousy CS.

And on top of that I am annoyed with myself for coming back to the brand after I had vowed never to return last time. :cursing:

It's just too much like that lame-a** BF I had my first year of college.

Hi Lo,

Happy Holidays!

I can totally relate to your experience of leaving a company for the way they treat customer's and then still squeezing in a purchase occasionally. Don't be hard on yourself!

That's funny about your analogy with freshman year.

Happy Holidays to you, too m'dear!! :hugs:

And lol, it is SO MUCH like that lousy BF of mine...

I need to find a sexier handbag to date for sure. :lawl:

I fell out of love with Orla Kiely last year! Two reasons: 1) The quality has seriously declined; and 2) She seems to be everywhere now, even in Target, which means my bags look way less unusual than they used to. Cue tiny violin. The prints are still cute, though.

Im falling out of love with Louis Vuitton, even though I only have 3 loui's. There are sooo many fakes, and i mean very ba fakes that are so madly produced i never really thought it would bother me. Ill admit it, ive bought a few fakes but, once I bought a real handbag i never went back. You can tell a major difference from a real and a fake, and its really bothering me.

I'm still bag obsessed but I haven't been on here in a while because I tend to go back & forth between two loves, handbags & diamonds! I am currently happy with the bags I have (my latest bag is a $92 Ed Hardy that I think is fun & cute for spring/summer days when I dont carry my Azur Speedy due to rain or whatever). After this last bag I'm going to TRY to save for a ring I have always wanted. I'm officially on an all bag hiatus at the moment but will see how long that last!

I have really never loved monogrammed designs from any designer, but that doesn't mean i don't like any of their bags. I will still purchase Coach or LV (for example) if its a style that I like from their leather collections.

Lately, because of the inconsistencies and poor CS and QC I have been falling out of love with RM. I've supported the brand forever, but now I just feel like there is too much out there than to deal with the BS. I still love her bags, her leathers, and colors and hope I will get to that point where I'm head over heels in love again, but not right now.

Currently I am enjoying Gustto, Treesje, Alexander Wang, Prada, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, and Balenciaga.

Haha I found the purse forum after getting my 1st Coach bag, so in my excitement I chose the user name Crazyboutcoach but now I ain't so Crazybout em' anymore, just have'nt bothered to contact a mod & change my name yet. I love my coated canvas LV, & Guccis but now I am on my canary diamond quest, then it will be back to ALL leather bags which is what I set out to get in the 1st place but then got sidetracked by the 1st Coach Canvas Leah. It's a knock-around don't really care what happens to it bag. I am impressed by how good it still looks but I am not wowed by Coach anymore plus I see them EVERYWHERE!

I love the ring in your profile pic. I almost bought one like it when I managed a jewelery store. I don't love RM. I think they look pretty online, but IRL they are a bit of a bore. I also do not love COACH anymore. I LOVE Lv, Burberry, Gucci and SOME Fendi.

I have fallen out of love with Balenciaga and Chanel. I think I'm also falling out of love with LV. When I go into the boutique I'm just kind of going through the motions. I never see anything I want.
