The pictures I posted are from underneath of the flap that folds over, of the Binocular bag she was referring to, the angle of the picture shows the inside zipper below. I know how hard is to show in photographs the exact color, hard to tell for sure. I posted the pictures in case that this bag was done in blue (wondering myself).
Has anyone seen D as a Chinese plant code in 2004?
I know a bag is authentic but I'd only seen D as US. (Once I figure out how to get pictures from my phone to my computer (duh!) I'll post them.
LOL!You mean this one?Or this?
ETA - speaking of 2004, it's come up once before but it's good to remind everyone that the "P" Costa Rica plant was also open in 2004 but they still had to use an old stamp Coach had assigned them way back in the Dark Ages and there apparently was no way to add the Zero to the 4 for the new year code, so you'll see a few genuine P plant bags in 2004 styles that have a "4" instead of an "04" plant code.
It's hard to answer a question without some more specific information as to the seller and her items however I'm guessing the seller is this one:Hi! I am new to this thread and not sure I am posting my question properly, but In my quest to find vintage Coach bags, I found a woman on Ebay selling NEW, old stock bags circa late 90's. They are gorgeous, and expensive. I didn't know these could exsist so am stunned. She has been selling on ebay for 11 years with 100% rating and a authenticity quaranty. Has anyone heard of this and can it be for real? I am in love with the older bags but finding them mint, new is interesting.
The listing number on one of the bags is131323130678 and her store name is Your Coach Awaits. After reading her whole listing I can find no fault with the bags or what she describes except she doesn't tell you how she is able to obtain the bags. Very strange. They look so perfect but most are from late 90's. I was surprized to see others out there but this woman specializes in this type of offer. Hoped someone might have knowledge that there actually are New, unused 90's bags out there. It's hard to answer a question without some more specific information as to the seller and her items however I'm guessing the seller is this one:

My problem with this seller's items is that she's selling them as NWOT and although they may not have been used, I don't get the impression from her description that she's not the original owner and really doesn't know whether they're new or lightly used.
IMO, it's deceptive when sellers sell items as "new" when they don't know if they are new or the extent of use. It's more honest and transparent to list as "pre-owned" and clarify that it doesn't appear to have been used.
This is one example:

From the description and item specifics:
Item specifics:
Condition: New without tags : ir.ebaystatic.com/pictures/aw/pics/s.gif Seller Notes: Mint condition, never used. Looks like it is fresh from the Coach store.
Description -- Not being the original owner, she does NOT know that it wasn't used!
This bag has been stored away since the day it was purchased. It is one of many mint condition handbags from a fabulous handbag collection estate liquidation sale. Mona Lisa Fashions is honored to be chosen to represent this collection of lost treasures.
And another.

Personally, I find this a bit deceptive.
She has beautiful bags! I don't know where she gets her stock. Several of them aren't vintage. Some sellers get bags at estate sales. It isn't that unusual to find unused items at an estate sale, especially if it is the estate of a collector. The listing number on one of the bags is131323130678 and her store name is Your Coach Awaits. Well, she has a burgandy bag, just the color I am looking for. Hmm, pretty pricey! At least I know there are bags like this out there. I can understand someone having one bag, but she has quite a few. I just acquired a camel tan colored City bag worn only a few times and in excellent condition othr than a dark spot on the bottom of the bag, ink or grease because I can't get it out, but otherwise beautiful. It has the xxxx-xxx creed so probably 93 , before style numbers in 94. Am awaiting the arrival of a 70's cresant hobo in British Tan made in New York bag. Excited about that one. I wear all my bags. Sold a British Tan Whitney in a garage sale years ago, I think I bought it in the 80's. Uggg, trying to find another in great condition but no luck so far!She has beautiful bags! I have several vintage items that are in new condition. I bought most of them on ebay from people who had them sitting in their closets for years. I found one in a consignment shop. One of mine is from the late 70s and was never used. I have a 90s item with a price tag, still in the original gift box with the original tissue. When items get this old without being used, they become collector's items for me so I can't bring myself to use them.
I have a burgundy/nickel Rambler's Legacy that didn't look used when I got it. It is the perfect burgundy, I'd say better than NYC burgundy. The nickel hardware looks perfect with it. It is one of my favorite bags. Not every seller will describe the color correctly.Well, she has a burgandy bag, just the color I am looking for. Hmm, pretty pricey! I love Costa Rica leather! I think that some of the bags made in the early 2000s, in Costa Rica, Turkey or the US, have the best leather of any bags Coach ever made.Yes, come to think of it, I might find that bag too large for me today. May I ask an opinion on the early 2000 bags made in Costa Rica. If you have one, how does it compare (leatherwise) to USA bags? Also, do you have any bags that have been re-conditioned? Might be fun to try it with a rough bag.
I have read several articles on the subject of "washing" and conditioning older bags and would like to try the process. Is there a forum on this site for re-storing older Coach bags? Would like to see before and after pics. As all my Coach bags are in pretty much perfect condition, I have never done anything but conditioned them. I own no modern Coach as prefer the older leather. My modern bags of preference are Bottega Veneta, & Burberry for the plaid. One more question regarding authenticity. Can you assume if a bg has small double circle indentation on the creed patch or near it that the bag is a outlet bag? Also I have seen bags with an FS mark. Would this be Factory Store?I love Costa Rica leather! I think that some of the bags made in the early 2000s, in Costa Rica, Turkey or the US, have the best leather of any bags Coach ever made.
I don't know what you mean by re-conditioned. Many of my vintage bags were beat-up and worn when I acquired them - I washed and conditioned them. Is that what you mean? Nearly every unlined leather bag I've gotten has been washed and conditioned by me.
