I posted a question but think I may have posted in the wrong thread and I cannot delete or edit it :blushing:

I posted in the Authenticate This thread (my question is #167)

I am just wanting to know if the "creed" (never heard this term before here) is the patch sewn on the inside of the bag stating where the bag was made etc.. and to confirm that it should have a serial number of some description under that blurb, but on the same patch right?

See the other thread for your answer.

Are there any threads here that explain the serial numbers? I noticed somewhere (confused as to which thread now) that someone had mentioned a string of fake numbers that had been used but now I cannot find it

This place is so big I'm getting lost and going around in circles.

The most recent list is on page 24:

And remember, it's an introduction, NOT an all-inclusive list. There are thousands of fakes that won't have any of those numbers.

There's a lot of information spread throughout this entire thread. Please don't expect that everything you need to know about spotting fakes will be found in 2 or 3 posts. This is just a primer, there's a LOT of information that isn't posted here. To really spot a fake takes an expert with a lot of experience and no one's going to get to that level just by reading a few posts. Anyone buying Coach who isn't an expert really needs to have someone authenticate them.

Hi. I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I have a question about COACH and COACH Factory. I recently purchased a Coach Legacy 10328 shoulder bag on ebay. The seller said that she purchased it at Coach.com and even gave me the receipt. The serial number is F063-10328.. Does the F mean it is a coach factory bag? I'm a little confused..
Where should I post this question if this is not the right place? Thanks.

If I've read correctly, the F at the beginning of the serial number stands for the month made (June). If the F was in front of the style number(10328), then it would be a factory bag.
