I've owned LV's and I can honestly say the two Rioni bags that I just received are just as good, if not better. I also love the fact that there's extra pockets, a strap on the Boston bag, pockets on each end, etc. The workmanship and the details are amazing. I'm truly impressed with how well made they are. The fact that they're $$$$ less expensive is an extra plus! :smile1:

I came upon a Coach Factory Outlet yesterday for the first time - visiting the US. After owning Rioni, I couldn't get excited about those bags. There might have been nice ones in there, and I did look at one that I liked - but not enough to buy. I've just ordered another Rioni. Much easier now that I'm in the US.

I was just surprised that I had such a reaction to the Coach purses. I guess I'm already spoiled by Rioni. I guess - to make it full circle here - I understand why people love Louis Vuitton so much - because of the quality.

I think people buy bags for the label I mean are people scared that if their bag is not quality that it cannot withstand the weight of their cell phone and wallet? If LV bags cost 25 dollars I bet no one would want one. People can say whatever they want but I know the majority of people carry LV purely for the fact that it is the most recognizable monogram in the world and people can recognize that they spent however many thousands on a bag. Why do you think people shell out 15000.00 for a birkin? Is it quality or attention? When it comes down to it it is a basic plain leather tote.

No, looks to me like she's comparing getting a new Rioni Boston bag vs a preloved Speedy. My point was that the comparison isn't entirely valid, because she shouldn't be paying 200 dollars for a Rioni Boston bag. However, if she can get a Speedy for 200, go for it - if that's the bag she really wants.
