Amanda Bynes Arrest: Disheveled In Court (PHOTOS)
The past 19 hours have been a very sad time for Amanda Bynes and its written all over her face.
New pictures have surfaced of the former child star, who was put under arrest last night, inside a NYC court today. Shes facing charges for criminal possession of pot, as well as reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence for allegedly tossing her bong out of her Times Square apartment window on Thursday evening.
In the photos, Amanda, dressed in a black Versace sweatshirt and sweatpants, can barely keep her eyes open as she wears a matted blonde wig.
A second pic shows the disheveled looking Easy A actress fixing the wig, and a third one shows her addressing the judge as she holds up a form with only one manicured nail. In court, her lawyer, Andrew Friedman, said his client denies throwing a bong out of her apartment and that police illegally followed her into her apartment.
As In Touch Weekly reports, the 26-year-old apparently called the cops on herself during last nights incident.
She called 911, saying cops were going to assault her, a source confirms to the mag. According to law enforcement officials, police at the scene determined it was appropriate to take her to Roosevelt Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation due to her erratic behavior upon their arrival. This all happened around 7:30 p.m. ET.
The arrest follows a slew of reports that Amanda has been engaging in serious drug use.
As In Touch also reports in their issue this week, Joe (one of the photographers partying inside Amandas apartment recently, who doesnt want his name to be used) says her partying was out of control.
I was amazed by how much weed this girl smokes and she doesnt really ever slow down from it! he says. He also alleges that she did cocaine, which Amanda has denied, describing her as being in her own world.
According to a photograph of the form Amanda was holding in her during the arraignment, she is set to appear in court on July 9.
