No offense, but if it was my daughter, I would also tell the world that she does not have a mental illness due to the stigma it portrays.

:true:But do you not realize you'd be contributing to the stigma? That's exactly the reason why there's a stigma in the first place. Acting like it's something to be ashamed of doesn't help anyone. I really wish people would stop thinking like that.
I totally agree. She needs to be committed...her parents would have to go to court. However, based on their behavior, I'll bet they won't. They'll save face, and she'll kill someone, or die herself. Her parents took her off her meds citing that she has no mental illness. Her parent's should've requested an extension on her conservatorship.
They failed her IMO.
Her mom playing doctor was the beginning of this. All just my opinion of course.

Oh my God.I feel badly for Amanda, but also for any "victims" that may be in her path right now, tbh. Like bisousx, I can't forget her attempting to set fire to a driveway (I believe her puppy was with her at the time, and in danger). Also, other drivers on the road, contending with someone who is mentally ill, and under the influence.
In paparazzi shots, her parents look quite elderly. I wonder if that is part of the reason they let the conservatorship end (?). It must be a full-time job, helping/managing someone like this.
Oh my God.
Let me say I love love LOVE your avi.
I devoured Enid Blyton books and I remember reading that one!
You brought a smile to my face. Sigh. Childhood, when things seemed so much easier, even when our little problems seemed like the whole world to us.
