Am I receiving an offer?

I agree the leather is fabulous and does have a beautiful sheen. That being said am I correct to assume this would NOT be a good leather for an everyday bag? How does it compare to Chanel lambskin? Will it scratch as eSILY? PLEASE HELP. MY SA HAS the bag and I dont want to make uninformed decisions
I find this review on instagram very helpful:

I'm still waiting on an offer for this leather. I can only say I prefer Kelly in heritage leather now that I have a K25 in Epsom. I may have a plan to add another constance too, and preferably not epsom.

Although I do agree but I would like to add that tadelakt is not for everyone especially those that are picky “OCD” about minor scratches including hard to see non visible ones.

Meaning it would NOT be a good idea to use this as an everyday bag correct? Most of the Sa i have spoken with say they have not see this leather on bags mainly SLGs. Is that true? Do you own anything in this leather ? Is it a similar leather / durability to chanel lambskin?

Try to focus on what your ideal specs are rather than the offer itself.

There are several threads on this leather if you search titles, like this one:
Tadelakt leather?

Good luck!
My ideal is GHW with a blue(leaning towards navy ) or Etope so this is close - I did read those threads but they really didnt give me more info than I already know. I was hoping someone had this leather on this forum that I could ask questions to

Lots of good advice here to wait then, as that bag looks to be phw - so, completely different bag.
If you are stressed it's probably not a good sign...Constance ghw will come!
Might be helpful to research the leathers that will work for you? It's so personal

I think thats why I am hesitant cause I already do know what leathers I want(or was hoping for) and I was unfamiliar with this one bc I didnt even consider it bc I haven't seen bags in this particular leather in a while. Thanks I do have my eye on this beauty if all else fails haha

A Tadelakt K28 (Blue Electrique) owner here chiming in. I have had this leather in a k28 since March /April 2019. I ve carried it about 10 times (I can’t seem to rotate through all my bags, that’s why so little use) but the Instagram review posted above is quite accurate. My nail scratched the flap during first use but now the scratch has faded and is barely visible..This bag is especially precious because of the finish of the Tadelakt. It’s stunning. I was not on the market for Tadelakt (But was for a Kelly) when my SA offered it to me. She sent a photo and I was like yay(but wasn’t decided). When I saw it, it was love at first sight and I wasn’t going to leave without it. I’ve learned to view Scratches to bags and damages to material things etc as part of life. I don’t t sweat them and they have bothered me less the older I get . At the end of the day, it’s just a bag, right? However In this situation this decision is strictly yours. If this was the bag for you, you would not have been able to walk away without. GOod things come to those who wait so I’d say, just wait it out. Good luck and keep us posted...

thanks you so much. Believe me it wasn't easy to walk away I walked around for almost 2 hrs trying to decide bc the color was so beautiful and the stitching blew me away. So I really "haven walked away yet" obviously bc i am stilasking about it and thinking about it. I have to go back there on Friday and I have decided that if it is still available I will get it. But I doubt it will be

I don't think a C18 with gold hardware is difficult to get. At my home store I want a C24 yet they seem to have a higher volume of C18's mainly because the demand for smaller bags is still high. If you are set on a colour and hardware then don't settle. There are times when I am specific and times when I'm open minded with Hermes. I have purchased things that were off from my wishlist and have been happy, and other times when I have not been happy....luckily more often than not I have been extremely happy. Etoupe with white stitching looks great with PHW. I have a Gold togo Kelly with PHW and I prefer it because of the white stitching, whereas I see an overwhelming preference to gold/GHW on the H forum. I always think I want GHW, and then when I get PHW I am so happy I did - it's an understated look and I can get away with it in the daytime without looking over the top- I happen to live in a very casual city so I like to just blend into the crowd and I don't like attention drawn on me.

I don't own anything that is Tadelakt leather but I do own Chanel lambskin. If you baby your Chanel lambskin, then you will feel ovewhelmed with the scratches on any smooth leather. However, keep in mind that when Epsom scratches, it can't be rubbed out. It's just a superficial scratch on embossed leather. The Tadelakt can be repaired more easily. This is a bonus for Tadelakt in my opinion.

Don't worry about not being offered another bag, you will get another bag. I think you should likely walk away from this one and consider it a learning experience. Your dream C will come along sooner than you think
