The stickers are still intact...look at the corners. I think sometimes they wear gloves, sometimes they don’t. It’s not an absolute. I don’t think it was a return.,.it may have been shown to someone else or maybe your sa took it out to look at before showing you since she knew you were coming to see the bag. Hermes has extremely high standards and wouldn’t try to sell a used bag with no protective stickers. I’m not trying to offend you but you did say you regret not accepting so perhaps you were looking for something to make you feel better about a missed opportunity/regret? Not good to trash the brand though especially when it’s not accurate info.

I agree here. The OP seems to be speculative about the bag .
The bag wasn't right for the OP & bottom line is OP passed on the bag...
He or in this case, she who hesitates is lost & at the end of the day, it is just a bag, as OP comments
No regrets & don't look back as it serves no purpose.
H has extremely high standards & for many of us who have familiarity with H don't always appreciate
what can be discussed without fair & appropriate back up. The images speak for themselves.

inclination to share their thoughts respectfully.
You passed on the bag after looking at it for an hour in your words. No need to look back now
I wonder what your SA would think if she could identify you from your posts on this forum. This doesn't reflect
well for her for a client to feel or think she was not presented with new merchandise as the images clearly show
While your SA might have shown the bag to someone else, & you have no proof of this at all.. It's your guess

Hermes never sell their display bags if it is meant to be on display only and not for sale. Because these bags are considered not new , handled , might have scratches on them , been out on display for a long time and - by hermes standard - not worthy of sale .

Hermes only sells brand new bags and they handle them very carefully . If a bag is defected they will never sell it .

So to say that the bag was returned and probably used with no stickers on the hardware they they tried to sell it to you is not fare . I think we all feel the same .

I didn't't feel that there was any negativity in here thou, maybe because I tend to look for positive things . I thought that other members were shocked because they have never been offered a bag with no stickers on the hardware . Then other members corrected that concern and stated that the stickers were on. Then we all found out that Laurie C went the felt not plastic stickers . And because she is new to H she compered pics on the internet/IG/TPF to what she was shown in the store . This what made her think it was used . Then she found out that the bag was indeed new and she made a mistake . And that was that .

Maybe ppl were shocked because this misunderstanding might be read by anyone who is looking for info on H and might think that H except used/returned bags so this misunderstanding might mislead someone or hurt the brand so they had to clarify them.

Posting thing on the internet get misread and misunderstood all the time . There is only love here for everyone . Please don't use all caps because it means you are shouting at us . Keep posting and be active , one misunderstanding should never stop you went thou enough already . But I didn't think any one offended you personally . Hi Laurie. Please don’t be upset. I think all the confusion has been cleared up now. A first bag offer is always nerve wracking especially since they don’t come around every week and we often don’t get exactly what we asked for. Also, for newbies to H, there are so many questions about what we should expect to see with an offer. Shrink wrapped box, felt, protective stickers (some stickers are so good I even have missed them on my clic clacs and peeled them off 1 yr later when I noticed they were there), care booklet, dust bag, etc.

I really think in my heart the leather on this constance was not right for you, especially for your first bag.
