So I bought this on-line for 50% off at Bergdorf Goodman. I was so excited! Everything looked great when I pulled it out. Then I took a look at the authenticity card, and this is what someone did:

Even worse, I can clearly read under the price tag PETITE 2JOURS ...ELITE. IT.FLAMINGO/ACC

This is clearly not a pink bag.

I really like the bag, but what are the odds it's actually authentic??

ps. Can someone help me out - where is the hologram tag on the 2jours? I found a leather serial tag and RFID label but that's it. Can you tell I don't know much about this bag (except that I quite like it)?? Many thanks.

pps. Never mind - I just found glue residue near the stitching on one of the corners. I feel it likely this isn't authentic.

Just to follow up in case anyone is interested. I contacted BG who said they can actually have Fendi send me the correct authenticity card. I was a little surprised to hear this (especially since that spot really does look like glue on the corner of the bag). It is supposed to be here in just a few days. I am willing to wait to see what I get.

Is there a Fendi store next to you? You could let them check the electronic RFID (?) tag inside the bag, maybe.

Just saw your edited post. I have a textile tag with the hologram sticker on the side of the back main compartment of the Medium and directly opposite, there is the RFID label.

Thank you so much for taking the pic and for all of your help. Unfortunately, I don't live all that near a Fendi boutique. My bag definitely does not have a hologram sticker on it. I talked to Fendi directly about this and the agent said that, depending on the store it was made for and the area of the country, it might not have a hologram (which was news to me).

At this point, I'm going to wait for the card which is supposed to arrive by the end of the week. If it matches my serial number (which I have not disclosed to anyone), I will feel better. The spot that looks like glue (pic above) still bothers me, though, and I'm still debating a return.

I have been wanting a Fendi, but one big enough to hold my son's iPad Mini with case without being too big. The petite 2jours is the perfect size! I'll be disappointed if I return this, but I don't want to feel uneasy about the purchase either. Thank you again so much for your help!

You are welcome! Was this the last bag at BG? I am very convinced of Fendi quality and the corner would bother me, too. I checked mine, no visible glue at all:

In case you still need to see a hologram... I have a black 2jours. Its on the back main compartment. I hope everything works out for your purchase

Thank you so much - it's very kind of you to take the time to provide a photo (I've learned it's not as easy as it looks to take the tag photos!). My bag definitely does not have a hologram. Fendi Customer Service has told me that not all of their bags will have a hologram and that I can't authenticate it one way or the other that way. At this point, I'm waiting to receive the substitute Authenticity Card and see if the numbers actually match my bag or not.

Oh, what a gorgeous color red that is! Thank you again for the photo.

Yes, it was the last bag in BG's inventory - the first thing Customer Service tried to do was find me another for an exchange. And I did get it at 50% off, so I wonder if it was a returned bag. Which, of course, is why I have been worried, in addition to the odd authenticity tag issue!

ps. I just realized the bag is your avatar photo, and I didn't even realize! I'm not very observant...

Melsig,
Do you know if you have a newer 2jour bag? I think the bags from 2015 -onward doesn't have the hologram. Also I think the newer bags don't have black Fendi label, instead it will be a silver/gold plated label that says Fendi and a separate label tag that says made in Italy with the serial reference on the back.

Also I think all new 2jour bags have the cream colored authentic card that says "flamingo".

These are just my observations from looking at consignment websites and the authenticate this Fendi thread. I'm on the market for one eventually. Good luck with your purchase!

Thank you so much for this information. The only cards that came with my bag is the Authenticity Card (which is cream) and the card stating it has RFID technology. There was no other tag (although, as I say, given that I bought it on sale, it could be a return). Even if all of the cards do have "flamingo" (which is great to know, but how odd!), the serial number on the card, that I can make out beneath the price sticker, does not match the serial number of the bag. Thanks again for helping me out! I'm supposed to get the new authenticity card today...
