I see they are now doing the Andiamos with non-tonal hardware where the straps pass through and metal straps instead of leather? Not sure how I feel about this, I feel it makes the bag quite busy-looking, but I suppose solves the issue of strap wear...

I feel like it’s too fancy for the laidback-ness of the bag!

I also have not had any wear on my straps, I’m not sure that’s really a thing. It seems like only one person on this thread has

Yes I agree, aesthetically speaking I think it cheapens the look of the bag somewhat, there was something particularly elegant about the knot detail being the only pop of hardware - very subtle and understated. Now it looks way too bling for my personal taste. And I feel wearing the bag on the shoulder previously, the knot stood out nicely against the leather strap, but now will probably be less of a feature since it's the same colour as the chain!

Went into store today and tried on the Andiamo small and medium in the cognac colour. The small is surprisingly quite small for me, I was a little taken aback, in my head I had pictured it as bigger! The medium however is a perfect size, not too bulky as a crossbody, a perfect shoulder, and very proportional on me (I’m 163cm) as a top-handle. The only thing that makes me hesitate is I love this bag top-handle, but the scraggly strap hanging out the back when you top-handle it is a little off-putting, and you can’t tuck the strap neatly inside the bag. Still very tempted though…!

I know there is a specific way they tie it in the store when using it as a top handle so I’m going in today so they can show me how to do it and pick up the certificate of craft they forgot to ship with the bag. I have used it as a top handle though and just pulled the strap with the hardware so it was even on both sides which I liked the look of

Thanks for chiming in! I forgot to update that I added one to my collection as well in fondant. I agree, phenomenal clutch and fits a ton. So odd that it’s always on “pre-order” 🤔
It is always on pre-order, I still haven't seen it IRL but love the look of the clutch online! How are you finding the versatility of the Fondant clutch? I'm debating between a Fondant or Emerald Green clutch.

I'm looking for it to be versatile while also being unique (e.g. not everyone has it). For example, a clutch that can be worn dressy at night or also with jeans and t shirt. I love the look of Emerald Green but unsure of its versatility. I could pair Green casually but unsure if it goes with my dressy items at night. I feel Fondant would go well both day and night.

The issue with Fondant is I have a feeling everyone will eventually have a Fondant clutch. I rarely wear my black Chanel flap that everyone has. I'm unsure of which color especially since I've never seen a clutch IRL :/

I love it! Using it right now actually. I’m honestly very bummed it’s an “it” bag lol. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been so under the radar. It’s extremely versatile and the fondant is very easy to style. Fits as much as my medium flap (minus my card holder since it has slots) for reference. They did not have the green when I purchased mine but I would repurchase the fondant again even if the green was available. Good dark brown bags can be hard to find that don’t feel dated quickly imo. This fits the bill.
