My husband bought it from a retailer and it doesn’t have the certificate either. I suspect because it’s a seasonal colour it would be difficult to repair later down the years
I actually ended up getting it from Bottega directly and it came with the certificate, so I think the certificate only comes if you order from Bottega directly. I ended up returning it in the end because the Space colour didn’t suit me sadly :(

Hi! Can you share more pics of this color? It’s SO beautiful. But I feel like everytime I get a brown bag I get sick of it fast so worried that will happen again
Not the person you’re replying to, but I have a photo if that’s helpful! I was thinking about taking this medium home last week and ended up deciding against it. After patting myself on the back for successfully resisting temptation, I turned around and ordered one in aloe instead …

Buh. Not helpful. I was contemplating medium and this doesn’t help 😂. What made you go for aloe over cognac?

Well, I’d had my eye on aloe for longer and when I saw the cognac in person, even though it’s probably the “safer” and more classic choice, I just didn’t get that “wow” factor to where I felt like I had to have it. I’m planning on wearing a lot of blue this summer and I think the aloe will go nicely with it, plus to me it’s more unique! I figure if I end up really wanting an Andiamo in brown I’ll probably have more shots at it down the road, but the aloe color is one that’s much less likely to repeat and is much rarer generally. But we’ll see once it arrives if it’s everything it looks like in the photos!

I have two Andiamos. A small in Agate and a medium in Travertine.

I am debating another one, because I LOVE this bag so much..

I don't have a huge preference as to the size. The mediums are better for daily use, I guess, but I really love the proportion/aesthetics of the small. And the East West is SO nice. I normally am not a huge e/w girl in general, but a few brands do it well, and I suppose Bottega is one of those brands. Am I being influenced regarding this trend? Maybe.

So I'm debating between the Medium in Aloe (definitely nice to see one in here!), a Small in Acorn (I LOVE this brown), the East West in their gorgeous dark green, OR wait for a Medium in Acorn.

I'm so torn and having trouble deciding.

Aloe would be the most unique for my wardrobe color-wise, and since I do wear a lot of cooler tones, it would really put in work with my closet. And the Medium is a great carefree size for casual/daily use.

I have lots of brown bags, but the tone of that Acorn color is so unique and lovely. I really do like my browns/neutrals, and this one is so unique. It catches the light so nicely and is probably one of my very favorites of Bottega's gorgeous browns. But then, should I wait for that in Medium? It might be years!

Green is my favorite color, and while I do already have a fair amount of green bags, getting one in the Andiamo would give me green in a shade and shape combination that I don't exactly have yet.. so I'm definitely trying hard to justify this to myself! I guess I could also go for the Medium in green instead of E/W, but then that probably locks me out of ever getting Aloe, since they seem a bit too similar to justify both, even if there's a long healthy wait between them. I love the look of the E/W, but I have seen/heard complaints about the strap drooping a lot in that particular style. Do I want to deal with that? If it's for that green color, maybe..

Do you have a bv store nearby?

I personally would go for a neutral as my first instinct

My husband talked me out of it. He said all my bags are neutral and this colour is so unique. So I went for this one and I think he was right.

Not keen on e/w saw the video with the strap dangling down and no divider too

Small or medium is best in my opinion

Enjoy choosing

I say wait for medium acorn! Or have you seen the new cognac? Aloe seems too similar to travertine and I really dislike the ew style esp in this bag.

Do you mind posting some pics of your medium travertine?

I have two small Andiamos and love them both. Barolo & emerald green/glacier. The same size in two different colours can be an overkill but I love them both and the size works perfectly for me as day to evening.
I am debating between these exact 2 colours! Which do you think is easier to carry on a daily basis? Does the emerald green/glacier look better in terms of bag shape?

I mean, it’s gonna be a thing, so let’s get a thread going… ;)

I fondled a medium Andiamo in travertine at my local BV boutique recently. Pic shows it next to small Andiamos (I didn’t see a large) plus me wearing it with my Medium Cervo Loop. I’m short, 5’3. Thoughts:

IMHO Andiamo is like the love-child of a Roma and a Garda.

The straps were soft, not as stiff as I had I had expected. They felt luxe and I imagine they would soften nicely with use That said, I personally wouldn’t wear this crossbody except in the small size.

The gold accent was beautiful; I’m not usually a big hardware person on BV, but I’d make an exception for this. It’s easy to reposition the hardware to emphasize it more or less and I loved how the curves contrasted with the sharp angles of the intrecciato.

The inside was nicely finished and organized, and the top has a gentle magnet closure.

My one immediate reservation, esp maybe in light colors, is how well the strap holes will hold up to normal wear and tear from the straps moving?

This bag in a small Nero or Fondant could be tempting for me.

I think both are incredible but the green/glacier makes more of a statement and goes surprisingly with a lot. Burgundy might be slightly more versatile, go with more outfits and carry over from day to dinner maybe. That being said I carried the green far more!
