Didnt exprct to like this bag, byt love it and cant stop thinking about it! The light colour is sea salt. Am i silly for cobsidering a light coloured bag? Im after a neutral colour that i can wear with most things, casual and dressier
I always go for black or dark coloured bags but just got a mini cabat in white and absolutely love it. A light bag just really stands out but is still a great neutral.
I think the sea salt is stunning and the one I like the most out of the 3 in your photos.

For dark colour I would still also check out ‘emerald green’ it’s TDF.

How has the wear been on the light coloyr cabat? Does it discolour at all?

I only just picked it up a few days ago so definitely too early to tell but others on here have plenty of experience with light coloured BV bags. Generally BV leather is very hardy and nowhere near as fragile as one might think.
I also believe the Andiamo is covered by the CoC which means you will always be able to send it to repairs, cleaning and re-dye if needed. The artisans can work miracles.
Get the bag that sings to you, that will get you the most use :)

Thank you, although dangerous feedback! Telling me just what i want to hear!

Does anyone have any idea when they will restock the website? I don’t have a bottega store in my country and I’m waiting for the large andiamo to become available again.
Also, any idea which colours will become available for FW? I’m hoping to purchase a dark grey / dark blue color.

I see they are now doing the Andiamos with non-tonal hardware where the straps pass through and metal straps instead of leather? Not sure how I feel about this, I feel it makes the bag quite busy-looking, but I suppose solves the issue of strap wear...

Omg I saw this one in the store today. It is so amazing - GORG. I currently have the medium Andiamo but was looking at the small Andiamo with the chain. They are completely 2 diff styles and looks.
It wasn’t heavy at all.
Do you think that’d be overkill? Ugh, I have Andiamo issues.

I am right there with you!! There was this light blue one on the website that was just never available TG bc I would have snapped it up sooo fast - I love the look of this one!

Hi everyone, I want to add a white bag to my collection. My top two choices are either a Chanel 19, which is difficult to find and costs more, or the small Andiamo. Anyone have the Andiamo in white? Can you share how it's held up with use? Does the magnetic closure prevent your things from falling out of the bag? Do the corners wear well? I'm really liking the new style with the metal interwoven chain similar to Chanel, do you think they'll introduce that to more colors in this style? Thanks!

I personally would never get white weave lambskin bottega. The weave lambskin is already hard to maintain, but add in white and that’s just a disaster. Take a look at preloved sites to see how they wear. Love this bag but would go for a different color if you get it!

That was my concern too. I did find one on FP and it looks pretty ok, but maybe it wasn't used a lot. I figured that the Andiamo can be adjusted to be worn higher up if wearing with jeans and lower with a dress. But yeah I agree the unfinished edges on a weave style would probably begin to look dirty and that would drive me crazy! The search for a perfect white bag continues ...

Agree that white may be trickier to maintain but I’ve never experienced nor heard that the intrecciato weave is “hard to maintain”. In fact it is the opposite. So easy to to keep looking great!

Which bags do you have and from what years? Modern day lambskin bottega weave doesn’t wear super well. Just check out preloved bags. It’s definitely a known and common problem. They don’t wear like the vintage ones do
