I have been carrying this bag (small size in fondant) non stop since September. I don’t baby it and constantaly change the strap position. I am surprised that I am still not seeing any wear in the strap. I think if will come eventually (and I am glad to hear life time guarantee has been extended to this bag), but so far it is holding up incredibly well.
No wear in the corners either, but I think that’s more of an issue with the larger sizes.

I’m not sure if you can! I got the small before there was the certificate of craft so only have it for my medium. Not sure if you can ask for it but definitely doesn’t hurt to ask! Let me know if you have any luck

It would definitely be bizarre if they'd discriminate against those buying the Andiamo earlier, as those buyers are ultimately the ones responsible for it becoming a staple..

Probably a silly question, but - purchasing the Andiamo via an online retailer such as Net-A-Porter, does anybody know if it still comes with the Certificate of Craft? Or do you only get one if you purchase via the Bottega website? The Bottega website doesn't have the small Fondant Andiamo in stock in Australia :(

You have to purchase directly from Bottega - online or in the boutique to get it

The small fondant will be part of the new season again which kicks off 7th of Feb. It will prop come back in stock. Are you located in Sydney? You can probably order it from the store for the current price and then you have to wait until the bag becomes available in the store 😊

I'm in Brisbane... that's a good idea, I'll have a think about doing that. A $500 price increase has my eyes watering! That's a large jump! I wasn't expecting those kinds of numbers. The bag is just stunning but with that extra $500, I'm not sure I'd want to pull the trigger to be quite honest.

I know…it’s large…I think I wouldn’t want to buy one after the increase. I also heard a second price increase is coming mid year for Andiamo 🥲…other styles not confirmed yet, only Andiamo bags…

Damn... a second price increase... I think I worry also because Bottega bags don't really seem to hold their value over time? I know that's not a reason to purchase or not purchase (buy what you love, yada yada) but there's something that just squirms inside my gut when I buy a bag then walk out of the boutique knowing that it has already halved in value, just by me having touched/purchased it. I get the same squirming whenever I think about buying a Lady Dior from boutique. I can afford it, but some part of my reptilian brain just keeps on telling me it's not a very good way to part with cash. The Certificate of Craft might sway me though, I have a feeling that preloved Andiamos won't have it and I would really prefer to have a lifetime guarantee of quality.
