^ I don't think it would hurt to wait to purchase the bag later, if you can't afford it right now. For some people this bag will definately become the "trendy" bag, and I can already see these bags popping up on e-bay in the future.

Hmm... perhaps he might make other versions for one more season at least but with different color. Also, there might be a chance that he might change the design again. The Brenda from 1st season is actually a little different from the ones out right now.

i feel like i would be so afraid to buy one off ebay because of all the fakes out there.

but still, maybe i should wait.

if it's meant to be, it will happen right?

i'm going to try and scrape and save until they arrive... but maybe if i can't afford it by the time they show up (end of sept?) i will just live vicariously through everyone else on TPF :)

Of course :D,that's why the forum is here... to encourage(not only for purchasing purposes lol). Donna didn't change, except that they came out different colors. I think you'll be fine!

What i would also recommend is that you be placed on the waitlist (for OTTE NY)- they don't charge your card, but they put you on the list so that you can be notified and pay for it when it arrives.

I want this bag so bad, I almost purchased the blue one off shop bop however now I have talked myself out of it, and to wait for the next shipments, can anyone advise the best place to get on a waitlist, Im in London.

I would say OTTE-NY ... but i'm not sure how much they would charge for international shipping. You should call or e-mail them, they respond very quickly (w/ in 24hrs.). I know that many other stores require you to pay first to get on the waitlist, but OTTE will call you when shipment arrives and save a bag for you.

So I preordered this bag with the luckybreaks discount on Aug 6 from Mick Margo. They just charged my card last Wednesday, Sept 2. Do you think that means the bag is about to be shipped?

blue one is not NEARLY as rockstar as the black one!!! wait for the black one!!!

will OTTE or MICKMARGO or BARNEYS ship to london?

why not email alexander wang customer service (they are very responsive) and ask if THEY will ship to london... i bet they will !!!

They charged my credit card as soon as I pre-ordered it for the November shipment. So you should contact them and ask which shipment they are charging you for.

They did the same thing to me - actually, they charged me full price originally, but later credited me for the coupon code. The original one I was supposed to get was for September, but I went for the November delivery to get the lower price.
