i'm most concerned about the comment that the zipper and dimensions of the bag "make the cavernous interior unaccessible" -- nothing drives me more mad than not being able to see inside my bag... thats why i love satchels usually :) and this person says the same thing...

Ok, I was on a wait list for this bag for months....Finally got i t- it SUCKS. Clearly a bag designer did not design the bag...the way it falls, the weight, the shape , the opening, are ALL WRONG. I returned it next day....
VERY SAD, i love the design but the bad is very poorly executed...
Sorry girls, dont bother getting it....no joke... :(


i feel this way about his bucket bag. i think it is sexy cool, but IMPOSSIBLE to get into. i realize sometimes you have to sacrifice function for form -- but i wonder if someone should tell alexander his bags are not 'user friendly' ? HOT! but not so easy to use...

i'm trying so hard to hold off but i don't know how much longer i can! i keep seeing ones on ebay and ALMOST clicking the BIN button. i'm doing my best to hold off but the earliest waitlist i'm on says it won't get there til the end of september and that's over a month!

end of september is great! alexander wang told me the next shipments aren't going out until mid november!!! what waitlist are you on? i want to get on it!!!

net-a-porter says end of september, but there is more GOOD NEWS! I've been e-mailing Alexander Wang customer service and they say they're getting a new shipment on the website in September too! :yahoo:

hi-i too thought i would love the bag, but it's sort of a downer. I didnt like the style and the heaviness of the bag. I also thought the brass studs were "dull" and maybe would like the silver too, but I am selling mine on ebay. I even offered it up to my best friend and she was a little disappointed too.
The leather smell is strong, maybe it's the dye or something? wierd.

those of you that have an Authentic Coco, are there any tags inside the bag on the lining stating where the bag is made? Italy?? I am going to pull my listing off of ebay and see if I can return my "coco" cuz I am suspicious that it is a fake. If I have to I will file a case with Paypal etc. It has a weird leather smell. All of the tags look good but I dont have anything to compare it to IRL.
Coco owners I need your input.

Oh! Sorry it's not your style...
Well, I checked Alex Wang bags @ Barneys NY last month, but they didn't have the Coco, the SA showed me a different bag w/ the same leather & the studs that were used on the Coco. I thought the leather was so soft & yummy, the smell didn't bother me at all, in fact it smelled fresh & the studs are brass, not the plated shiny gold. I prefer the brass it's much better looking. The weight, I'm not sure how heavy but I'm so used to heavy bags, I carry my Balenciagas w/ GH everyday & they don't bother me. Well see how it goes when I get it, Mick Margo will be getting the shipment in 2 weeks. They take returns anyway, so if I don't like it, I can use the money towards another Bal. But I strongly feel that I'm gonna LOVE this chic Coco bag!:p
