I think it should be fine if you apply some leather conditioner/gel.

Bought an AW Rocco Duffel Bag in blk pebbled leather back in Dec. 2012 b/c I wanted a somewhat inexpensive bag that I can use for errands and work. I like how tough it looks and how I don't have to be delicate with it but after using it for about 5 months now, I don't think its really functional.

It is so heavy by itself, without anything inside ( i know it's partly b/c of the studs ) and the zipper opening doesn't open as wide as I thought it wold. Also b/c of the shape, nothing inside stays put. I'm very conflicted b/c I love the look of it but I am really thinking of replacing it with the Givenchy Antigona (new) or the Chanel Medallion Tote (pre-used).

Are you guys finding the same problems as me?

I take the heaviness of carrying a rocco as work out haha. I would suggest two options either get the givenchy which is adorable or if you like the style get a rockie same as the rocco smaller and much more lighter :).

Forget the fact MK carries it.. for me it was the smooshy leather and the gold/brass studs on the bottom of the bag:graucho:

I think it's really edgy and does not require much accessorizing as it is such a statement already :)

I've been crushing on the Givenchy for a while now so I might just do that.

PS. I love the side pockets on my Rocco. It might be my favorite feature yet. It reminds me of the secret compartment of the Chanel Classic Flap.

The AW site has a few new colors posted. I am loving the Soft Heritage w/Pale Gold HW...and really can't wait to see the Rocco in Ink w/Rhodium HW (currently only showing a Rockie). :graucho:

What do you think about the bag? Is the color good for long term use?
I'm thinking if I should get the tundra instead
