I am trying to decide between iodine or melange grey rocco. I mostly wear black. I am not rough on bags at all but at the same time i dont want to have to baby it. It will be my first AW bag- i have lots of rm with a few linea pelle, goldenbleu , and dooney in the mix. Any suggestions?

Can someone please help me authenticate this AW Coco/Rocco bag? Please note there are studs on the inside at both ends of the leather binding around the internal zipper. Also, please see the strap construction to the body of the bag. Thanks,

Sorry for such a late answer, but I'd suggest Iodine. Love the color, wish I had managed to get one for myself, but I think the color is much more forgiving than a lighter gray if you don't baby your bags (I'm the same way).

I bought my Rocco 2 years and I barely worn it because it is heavy, Still lov it though In total I might have worn it like 15 times...But few days ago I wanted to to wear it again I saw a little white tube showing off on the sides :s

This is very frustrating because I take EXCELLENT care of my bags, never on the ground always on my lap or in their dust bags...
This is very concerning... Did this ever happend to you?

Yes, I ended up selling mine. They have since made more reinforced piping for the Roccos and Rockies.. but the problem is that the leather is so thin, so since most people hold the bag at the crook of their arm where the edges rub against your body, it ends up wearing down the edges. To keep this from happening, you would need to keep it from rubbing against you too much.

Oh really? I contacted ShopBop and they accept to take it back! I am shocked since it's been 2 years. But they can only give me store credit and I want to know if the new one will last longer?
did they really improve that part?

No, I got it online, maybe if I had seen it on the store i would have noticed the scratches on the piping, since its one of the parts that gets more wear. But I see the improved material on the edges it looks to be more of a plastic rather than a thin leather and that's nice. I'm still a bit disappointed, but well at least I got it on sale, for full price I would be mad.
