Almost every bag around has issues of one sort or another..........even the ones of 'better quality'. I read various forums (Prada and Bal come to mind) where there are problems like peeling and fading. What bags are you using for comparison?
I haven't had any issues yet with my Rocco, but I have only been carrying it (practically every day) for @ six months.

Wow, a year? No issues? It looks like it's in great shape!!!

I bought mine earlier this summer, but returned it just after using it for 3 days. It was wearing out quickly! This isn't my photo, but along the edges (not the piping) were rubbing off! Mind you I was using it very lightly.

Did you have this problem? I'm considering buying it again seems like your bag is doing well. Maybe I just had a bad batch. Please let me know! I miss it :(

Are you serious? after 3 days?.. :wtf: it should usually show that type of wear & tear after a year or so but not 3 days..
I used mine everyday for almost 4months straight and it hardly showed any wear & tear but I didn't look THAT closely and I was pretty rough with my bag & I've left it in my car in the sun countless times, you really can't say the future of whatever bag you get but if you are considering to buy it again, you can always give it another go and hope for the best. good luck & let me know if you do end up getting another :D I have one currently on 'layaway/layby' it's the ROCCO in birchwood, I'm excited! haha

Rocco owners...can you carry your Rocco all day? Like if you're at the mall for hours? I haven't carried my iodine yet b/c I was waiting for our weather to clear up. Some girlfriends & I are going on a shopping trip this wknd & I really want to use it but wonder if it works for you as an "all day" bag or if it gets uncomfortable & too heavy after a while. I'm debating b/c taking Rocco or a Bal city w/ GSH...

Not sure about carrying it all day but I've carried it for a few hours and it was ok. The strap is quite comfortable to wear and as long as you're not carrying a lot in the bag, it's ok.

I've had my Rocco 1.5 years and and Morgan for 7 months and they are both fine as well.. Maybe wait to get the one with the new edging...I recently bought iodine rockie and seems quite sturdy...

How do you know that their is a new edging coming out? It wasn't the piping of mine that wore off, but the actual edges of the bag that touched my hip. I think it's because of the quality of the leather.

I meant the piping is new, have u seen the Iodine the piping is thick and the leather is tougher and sturdy...

Omg!!! Thanks for letting me know! I have been so out of the loop and I have finally gotten back to this forum. So no I did not know! I can't tell by looking at the Iodine colour though, it looks the same to me. But hopefully you're right. It says its still 100% lambskin though?

According to AW site it is 100% lamb, I bought mine at Barneys, it would be good if u could see it and feel it in person...I wasnt sure about it at first cause my black Rocco is so smoochy, but I really think this one is sturdry...there is a thread on the iodine, and I believe someone has a new blk Rocco with the new piping...
