Ive been obsessed with this bag forever! i literally compliment everyone i see carrying one. I was going to get it in beige but i broke down and bought my Birkin! This will be my next purchase. Is it really that heavy?

is the rocco just a trend or is it a timeless? its obviously an alexander wang staple but is it a staple for a purse collectors collection?

if i buy it now, will it be outdated in 5 years time?

i am so indecisive, i dont know if i should buy the rocco with rose gold or a gucci boston,,,,

help needed

Timeless to who? Only you can answer that. I get tired of everything eventually......no matter how 'classic' the bag is deemed to be by others. A bag will fall out of favor and either be relegated to the closet or sold.
I have over 40 designer bags, so under that criteria I guess I would be a collector. I fell into the trap of buying what others considered worthy only to find that they just weren't me after all. I unloaded a heap of bags (esp LV and Coach) that I never should have bought in the first place.
Now I buy what I like when I like it. I like AW because you don't see everybody and their mother sister and maiden aunt carrying it.:p

Totally agree. I've bought and sold a couple of "classic/timeless" Chanel bags because I was bored of them or they just weren't me. Some would say I'm nuts....

Ugh, ladies! I notice on my Rocco that the leather around the piping is starting to peel. All around one side. I don't know what to do. Should I call Alexander wang and complain? Will they do anything if the bag was bought pre-owned?

You can't really see it in the photos and it looks horrible in person!

i don't think aw would be able to do anything but if you apply edge kote along the edges, it will prevent it from further peeling

Hi everyone! I'm new to this thread! I just ordered my first AW Rocco and I'm so excited to receive it! The color I chose was Acid, which is a neon greenish-yellow.

My clothes are mostly monochromatic (whites, neutrals, grays, and blacks) so I was thinking a bright pop of color would be nice. What does everyone think? Will this color eventually go out of style? I hope I made the right choice.
