It used to be a little dicey here in the early 90s, and one of them was in Cambridge MA of all places in daylight. Like I said, it has been a while (10 years I think probably because I'm home at night getting my son to bed instead of sampling the nightlife :) ).

ur DH... hilarious!! but OMG! mugged 4 times?!?!?!!! holy cow girl, glad to hear nothing too crazy happened when you were mugged, but still.... unbelievable!! my cuz lives on 5th ave and even he takes the cab home after he splurges at saks (obviously for fear of being mugged!)

I spent half an hour last night with the flashlight looking. Is it in the same spot on all the bags? Is it on the plain end or the end with the pockets? Is it near the top or the bottom? I just looked again thinking that daylight plus flashlight might help. Still can't find it. I got it from the Gilt sale and wanted to see if it had the season tag but I can't even find the MIC one :pullhair:

They use to be sewn in the same spot, but the past few seasons they are sewn in different spots. My newest Rocco was sewn closer to the top on the plain side.

FOUND IT!!!!! Towards the bottom on the side where the interior zip pocket is

I was wondering about the Alexander Wang Rocco bag. What year did the first Rocco come out? I remember seeing Mary-Kate Olsen wearing it and after that the Rocco became very popular. Was it 2009?

I like the first, original Rocco. That was only made with gold hardware and no shoulder strap, right?

Thanks for sharing the pics! I do think the Dark Argon is a beautiful and subtle colour and safe without being black, you know what I mean. I love it but for my very first Rocco, I want to run my hands all over the pebbled leather but if I have money for the second one, the Dark Argon would have been my choice!

This is so beautiful. I've seen Rocco bags around for a long time but it somehow didn't call to me till recently. I was going to buy a Marc Jacobs bag and I was sure I was going to buy Marc Jacobs bag till I stumbled into pictures of the Rocco in Rose Gold, just like yours! I have my watch in black and rose gold too because I love the colour combination. Once I saw the Rocco in Rose Gold, there was no turning back, I had to have it. I am waiting for my order now but in the meantime, I will just ogle at yours!
