lizz said:Like many ladies here, I have wanted a Rocco for years, but finally decided to bite the bullet (no pun intended). It just arrived today, my iodine rocco. I love it! I am a Balenciaga girl first and foremost, but I really love the rocco. The leather is durable and heavy. I have never seen one in person until mine arrived today. The studs seem to be of good quality. The edges are coated, as has been mentioned here, which should prevent the problems people were having with the leather peeling off the piping. The color is definitely plum, not burgundy. My pics were taken without flash, which showed the truest to its color. It is heavy, but I think it's about the same weight as a Bal part-time with giant hardware. I don't mind the weight. The leather smells heavenly. The leather is wonderfully pebbled, and the color is consistent on all parts of the bag (the pics make it look like it's not in some of the shots). I feel like the bag is of very good quality and definitely worth the money.
One thing I noticed right away that I do NOT like is that the bag doesn't open wide enough. A Bal city has the zippers that extend beyond the bag, so the bag opens wide, but this one doesn't. It's no big deal, it's just something I noticed. Many thanks to all the ladies who posted their pics and knowledge here, you helped me to make a good decision.![]()
Great pics, you captured the iodine color well! I'm a Bal girl also & totally understand your issue with the opening, I'm starting to get used to blindly digging around for things...
