Just posted in the sep/oct/nov reveal thread, too, but here's my new (and very first!) AW - the Rocco in Cayenne. I'm a Minkette, but so many of my fellow Minkettes are AW lovers, too, that I had to give Rocco a try!

Here are pics. I did a quick unpack here at the office, so won't get to fully play with him till I get home tonight. The color is incredible - I love this red!! And I love it with the black nickel hardware - such a cool combination.

I'm pretty happy with the pebbling, given I bought it sight unseen from AW.com. My only disappointment is with the one side panel where there's a smooth spot next to a deeply pebbled spot. I can't decide if that bugs me a lot or not - it kind of does, but also is kind of a special, unique marking just for my Rocco.

Can't wait to get home, load him up, and try him out...hoping the weight doesn't kill me! :p
Sigh! Oh so beautiful! The thick leather; the smoosh; the color! WONDERFUL WONDERFUL. Enjoy!

Lizz: I just got a black/rose gold Rocco.
3rd time I have ordered then returned. I too am a Balenciaga girl so the weight of Rocco and the smaller zip top opening had made me return them.

However, I decided to keep this last order and give the Rocco a shot. I really like the bag and the style. I have AW Donna and fumo wallet that I love.

Here's my new Rocco with Balenciaga Havana jacket.

That's a rockin' combo. Love it!

I love it! The hardware looks amazing! So do you think it's a keeper? My Rocco has a spot on it too where it's pretty much smooth, but it doesn't really bother me. You're right - it makes it unique! :smile1:

Definitely a keeper! But...can't use him till Christmas. DH is wrapping him and putting him under the Christmas tree. Can't wait!!!!

I saw the cayenne in real life and omg it's such an amazing and bold colour!!!! i so wanted to get it on the spot LOL. congrats!!

Thanks! The color is AMAZING! The perfect shade of red. And I love it combined with the black nickel. I went kinda bold for my first AW, but I love it!!

Just received my iodine Rocco from the AW sale and I love it. Since it was a remaining popular iodine that sold out soon after, I was expecting light pebbles and that's what I got. But it is uniform, which is a bigger consideration for me (sometimes the super pebbled looks like brain to me, LOL. :) ).

Anyway, there have been beautiful reveals of the iodine already, but if anyone is interested I can post an in action shot tomorrow. :)

I'm thinking about buying the Iodine too - could you maybe post some mod pics and your thought about it now, after a few days? :smile1:

I'll take some photos this afternoon when I'm not such a shlub. :)

I love it. It's more structured than my black (actually, it seems bigger, has anyone else thought that?). The ends don't fold in like my other two. The sides stay perfectly round. The leather seems super sturdy so I've been carrying it untreated (I'll probably moisturize and waterproof it soon. I asked what other people had or hadn't done, but no one answered). I love the color, and the bullets on the bottom with the three rings. Overall, it is all I hoped. I figure I'll carry it almost daily. I wear a lot of black, so it matches perfectly. A keeper for me, without a second thought. I guess I hope it gets slouchier over time, but I think it's going to take a decent amount of time, carrying, and possibly moisturizing for that to happen. :)

Good to hear. I wear a lot of black too, so I guess it would be a great match for me :smile1:

Hi there,
since a few weeks I am the proud owner of an Iodine Rocco.
But what made me worry is the fading of its color at the edge where it's rubbing against my body!!!:nogood:
I've been wearing it only three or four times, so I wonder if this is a quality issue, or if it's nomal?
I think this shouldn't happen to such an expensive bag!?
Did anybody else notice this?

I've just received my black rocco with brass hardware from shopbop today. I'm a bit undecided about it as it's such a heavy bag. Anyway I was wondering if there is a way to reduce the fold on the sides of the bag? I know it's how the bag is stored and probably will take time to flatten it but it bugs me.
