Thanks! The piping leather seems on the thin side, so I don't think it's like the piping on the Iodine.

Had been wanting a Rocco in Black leather and brass studs for a while after I had returned the one I bought (because I had hardware doubts and because I though it to be too heavy which it still is) and I stumbled upon a ROCCO in black with brass at NEIMAN MARCUS LAST CALL, Outlet store. Bought it for $490. After several discounts! Best deal ever!!! Try your local NM LAST CALL and see if you get lucky. I'm so happy I got it at that price! Go Wangers!!

I have one on the way to me from Barneys! I got it on sale for $539 It's suppose to arrive tomorrow, but I won't be home to sign. I have to be at my son's house for a furniture delivery.

Here's a pic of my Cayenne - I believe the answer is no, but I haven't seen one with reinforced piping IRL to know for sure. Just based on my own observation, the piping doesn't appear to be reinforced - I put some neutral EdgeKote on it, just to be on the safe side.
