Here's a pic of my Cayenne - I believe the answer is no, but I haven't seen one with reinforced piping IRL to know for sure. Just based on my own observation, the piping doesn't appear to be reinforced - I put some neutral EdgeKote on it, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks for replying so quickly, I've found one on sale and I'm very tempted but I'm just unsure about whether to go for it or not. I've got an Iodine which has got the reinforced but I don't want a bag I have to baby. Does yours look like the edges on this http://forum.purseblog.com/alexande...eal-improved-edging-778359.html#post23022097? I may just go for it and put my faith in EdgeKote :smile1:

The edging on mine looks like the leather on the rest of the bag and not as finished as on the Iodine, so it must be from before they started the reinforced piping. I think the EdgeKote will definitely help protect it - I carried him for a week straight last week and didn't baby him and he's no worse for wear. :smile1: The color is really amazing and I think it's totally worth the leap of faith (of course, I AM a little biased). :graucho:

Thank you for your help! I'm very very tempted now! :smile1:

Checked at Holt Renfrew today. The black leather with rose gold hardware DOES appear to have new piping. I have purchased an old one before in the spring and it is definitely different. There is a layer of coating on the piping. I also compared it with the Iodine one that they had.

Luckily, I've been able to get two pre-loved Roccos as an xmas gift to myself (one black with rose gold and the other citrus with pale gold) I was wondering whether I could use to same conditioner on both bags? I'm just wary for the citrus one with it being light and all

Does anyone here carry their Rocco by the handles? Do they get squidgy with use? I only use them to pick the bag up to put it on my shoulder and the handles on mine are still firm.

Mine are squidgy I suppose. Much softer than my Emile handles!

How long did it take for them to soften? I know that they are firm when new. I have been carrying my Rocco steadily for almost 6 months and the handles are still pretty firm.

Just how firm are they?

Mine aren't super squidgy, still has some firmness in it but that's in the middle of the handles because of the way the handles are. The ends of the handles are squidgy though, like the rest of the bag. I can't remember how firm they were when I first got my Rocco, I don't think I've noticed a remarkable difference. I've had my Rocco since April 2012, I think.

Here's my Rose Gold Rocco Duffel I got from ShopBop!
