Now that I received my Rocco, which is the spring/summer 2012 version, I am a afraid to use it for fear I might have the same problem as the 1st one I returned after 28 days of very light use, the 2nd one due to horrible variations in the leather. The faded spots on the 1st one is the same story as dressedtokill. I am contemplating returning the 3rd Rocco that AW sent me because I'm afraid with just light wear, it will start to discolor again. AW ladies, any comments/suggestions -- help??? I hate to say this, but I think AW's quality in the leather is substandard. I not sure the durability or problems, as yet, other than what I have experienced in the S/S 2012 yet. I need to make a decision though . . .:cry::cry:
I really don't know what to do with the Rocco bag. I'm frustrated.Cee, have you had any quality issues with your bag so far?

I've been wearing my black on black and I love it so much, and don't want anything to happen to it.
ceedoan, if you go to the thread Rocco, quality improved? It has my whole story, along with pics. Let me know if you need further information after reading my numerous posts with the Rocco's and AW customer service.
I'm still trying to decide what to do with my Rocco. Ugh ... so frustrated. I posted a new thread relative to any problems with 2012 Spring Rocco's, no responses. I wrote AW customer care a very, very long email. Of course, no response -- over a week now. I called customer service to obtain a RA number, they told me they have no authority to authorize the return of the bag, albeit, brand new, tags on, did not use, etc. Customer service told me that would have to seek permission from "corporate." Five days later, I'm still waiting for "corporate" word . . . :censor:GOT IT!! i just read your posts from that thread! are u gonna keep the 3rd one???? ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS BTW!!! i was between rosegold and nickel when i was trying to decide which rocco to get!!! i went with rosegold, but if this were a perfect world i'd have one with nickel too!!i've been carrying mine for 3 weeks now and so far so good! (although i'm very careful with it since he's my baby!)

ceedoan -- I wish you luck traveling with your Rocco! I hope you have one "tough" Rocco!meandmarc - girl, sorry you're going through all this drama!! geez! so you're returning and not giving it a whirl? i'm taking mine on vacay and plan on using it as my main bag so we'll see how it holds up going through airport security, etc etc.

This is really crazy! No "corporate" weeny is going to tell me I can't return a new bag with tags still attached. This is really absurd! I am done dealing with AW Customer Care. I called AMEX and filed a claim. AMEX is going to deal with AW. I'm done!OMG, they sound terrible! They must be so aware of the problems with their bags (in particular the Roccos) or else why only give their bags a one year guarantee? and even that is not accurate because i had problems with 2 out of 3 Roccos that i have owned and the first one was defective went recieved!!!
I am so sorry that you are going through this, but if i were you i would keep at them, you surely must have a trail of when you sent the returns request, right? I mean if you can prove when you sent the e-mail/letter/etc then they have no leg to stand on.
