oh no!!! aww that sucks cinnabun, but glad to hear you're taking it rather well! i just got a rocco (my first AW too!) and have started using it (day 2 now....) - i love this bag so much and feel like it's my new go-to, but i keep reading about the piping issues (though it obviously didn't stop me from buying one since i love the style and look so much!). i'm still a newbie to his bags so i wonder if AW & Co knows about these issues??!?!! have they addressed it in the past??? does this mean all of us Rocco owners have to face the inevitable exposed piping issue??!?!!! that's such a bummer!!!!!

Because I've seen other pictures and they seemed to have smoother looking leather when mine is so stiff and thick that it doesn't make the shape that I was expecting when I hold it...does the stiffness get better or it depends on the bag...? :wondering

i just got mine from SAKS too and it's much stiffer than i was expecting. I think it might just depend on the bag. my mom and i ordered two of the exact same rocco bag from SAKS (black with brass hardware) and the two bags are completely different. the one i kept is very pebbley with a lot of bubbles, and b/c of the bubbles the leather is a bit stiffer. the one my mom kept is much smoother with way less bubbles, it's also a little shinier, and b/c the leather is smoother it has slouchier, softer look. i really wanted a pebbley bag so i'm ok with stiffness. plus i've been using the bag for about 2 days now and already noticing it softening up a bit.
i have been meaning to do show my rocco but wanted to wait until i got the prada keychains i wanted to hang from it! love my baby

although......... she is not as pebbly as my black coco.. i wish she had more pebbles. ignore the heels, it was a matching photo thing

a little more brown in the sun, i'm pretty happy with it being a chameleon color cause i would love a black rocco w/ strap but this one kind of does the job for me with that desire.. like 98% lol

I was ecstatic to re-home this lovely...but I did forget just how heavy the Rocco really is. Definitely a small sacrifice for the love of this bag! I'll keep carrying it as long as my back/shoulder will let me!
