Is this normal, like you see on the side its kind off like scrapped off? Why does my Rocco look so different to all of the ones you guys have? Yours look all sooo smoothy and mine just looks all beaten up (lol I do use it a lot but I try to be as careful as I can with it)

Hi kataa...unfortunately, this is actually somewhat "normal" with Roccos. Unpleasant, certainly, but not unusual...and has been the subject of many irritated discussions before. I don't use mine so much and wear is starting to show on the piping even then...i think in the areas that rub against my clothes or other body parts.:nogood:

I know, I saw it at barneys and it felt and looked like neoprene instead of leather...maybe I'm losing my sense of touch and sight...

Loved this bag when it first became popular with all the celebs but always ended up buying other makes like Chanel, Bal & Mulberry but keep thinking about this bag more & more & I have enough money saved to buy one so please tell me is it still popular & what are the quality issues I keep hearing about ??

great thread DD!! i've recently taken notice/become obsessed with this bag (thanks to a fellow TPF'er :D). i think if u love the design/shape of this bag, GO FOR IT!!! i'm saving up for one as well and will definitely take the plunge when i have the funds! :happydance: i'll be looking forward to hearing about the quality issues from seasoned coco/rocco owners!! It does come in neoprene and in leather still. I saw both at Barney's the other day. The neoprene is smooth. Didn't like the feel of it. I'm awaiting the delivery of the black leather with brass. Should be Friday!

I decided on the Baby Rocco in black w/ black hardware, instead of the neoprene Rocco I contemplated for a while. It arrived yesterday and I'm soooo happy with my choice! :yahoo: The size is perfect for me and I absolutely adore the texture of the leather :heart:

I'm trying to purchase a black rocco with silver hardware, but the sales associate at Holt Renfrew Vancouver said they are only making gold hardware this year. Which i'm sure is not sure... :( right? I really want silver!

I returned my first Rocco due to quality issues but I have had separation anxiety since! I just received the black/brass rocco as a gift but am curious if anyone has the pale gold hardware rocco, I'm comtemplating switching it for pale gold but can't tell how 'gold' it truly is from pictures online. Thanks!

Theres a reveal of a rocco with pale gold somewhere in the AW subforums...cant link right now but you can search for it! :)

I am! The pipings are beginning to rub-off but as much as disheartening it is...it is such a beautiful bag and ive resigned myself to the fact that black Rocco leathers and quality will always be like this and some babying (okay...a lot!) need to be involved :(
