I have dilemma, I can´t decide between this smooth leather Rocco with silver HW and a pebbled-leather one with black HW.
Is the pebbled leather essential for the "Rocco look", I wonder? Any good ideas from the ever-so-lovely TPFers?

Have to say im really not a fan of the smooth leather! Pics above are the first I've seen/heard of it (haven't been following much at the moment since I can't buy!) and it almost looks like an inspired version of the Rocco by an unknown brand. Just doesn't look right.
Maybe I'd need to see it in person to decide if I liked it.

Just my opinion, but I'm not a fan of the smooth leather either. I think the pebbled leather is a big part of what makes the Rocco gorgeous. It gives off a thick rich feel which is missing in the smooth version.

Not a fan-IMHO it looks cheap and fake. One of the key points/elements of beauty of the Rocco is the variations and textures in their leather-love my pebbles, quilting, laser cuts....the different textures help keep the bag edgy, and go great with the hard core hardware. The smooth leather is just not exciting.

Pebbled leather, the smooth Rocco is actually a neoprene material and I've seen it in person. It has a cheap look to it, I wouldn't pay that much for something that looks cheap and also I feel like that material wouldnt age as well...but these are just my opinions.

For some reason it looks like a "fake" Rocco, even though it isn't.:shrugs:

It´s not neoprene, it´s lambskin. I would never pay that much money for 100% plastic bags. But it does look kinda fake, doesn´t it? I think I´ll forget about it and go for the pebbled one which was my first choice after all. Thanks for the input, ladies :flowers:

I just checked and it´s the weirdest thing: ShopBop says it´s lambskin but on Barneys` online store it says "Neoprene Rocco Duffel".
I´m baffled... Are there two bags that look the same, cost the same but one is leather and the other one plastic? :thinkin:

Hey girls I bought my Gray Rocco Duffle w/ Silver Hardware in Holt Renfrew here in Toronto and I've had my Rocco Duffle since October and well something happened to it :( Heres a picture:

Is this normal, like you see on the side its kind off like scrapped off? Why does my Rocco look so different to all of the ones you guys have? Yours look all sooo smoothy and mine just looks all beaten up (lol I do use it a lot but I try to be as careful as I can with it)
