Hi there,
i am thinking of getting an AW rocco, probably the midnight blue. but i heard heard stories about the quality of AW bags and also for the rocco there's this issue of weight as well. i'm usually a balenciaga fan, but can't resist the rocco. i also read from the forums that the new generation rocco bags are slightly lighter in weight. is that true? how is the leather now? any replies would be good.

I have had terrible luck with this handbag, i went through 2 of them and finally when the 3rd one came in i realized it was too ridiculous to spend $1000 on a bag that was SO poorly made. The quality is really crappy, the leather gets knicked really easily and my handle threading started to come undone after about a month of use, i guess from the weight of all the studs on the bottom pulling down on the handles. It is such a beautiful bag and i still really want to own one but having had numerous LV's in the past and never having a problem i just had to pick a different bag. I'm hoping that maybe within a year the quality will get better and I will try getting another one but for now, AW has failed me big time, i don't know how well others people are holding up.

hi moosh22, thanks for your reply. yikes, i went to the shop today to carry the bag, it is indeed very heavy. i was swayed to this bag because i saw the midnight blue. would love to have a navy blue coloured bag. so unfortunate that you had such terrible luck with this bag. :(

unfortunately, definitely from a few seasons ago, your best bet is probably the bay..i'm 5'0 tho and i use the mini..it's not so bad. i actually had a baby and it was too small for me, so i returned it.
