Dorcast how dark was the shade of blue? It looks dark online, but in real life, was it more blue??

I know that AW leather has variations, both regarding texture (pebbles etc.) and colour, but I wanted to ask, about the luggage colour, is it normal for some parts to be darker? My friend bought a new luggage rocco, and some parts and pebbles are darker. I found some photos here, and I read comments, and as far as I saw it is normal. These bags are supposed to have a vintage and unique look, and everyone is different than the others, right?

Yes, it is normal. One of the reasons I love Rocco so much

I have a black rocco, and in the past I have bought a quilted luggage but I sold it immediately due to need of cash, so no experience with light colours
Now my friend bought a luggage rocco and the colour variations are obvious, I told her that this is the style of the bag, I searched here for her (she does not speak english) and promised her I would ask the experts
Now she can relax -I hope- and enjoy her new bag - and maybe I can borrow it
Hey guys! My espresso rocco came in the mail today-- so excited!
I took some pics so that maybe some could get a better idea of what this color really looks like. The camera on my phone isn't that great so bear with me...
The color in person is like a very dark chocolate brown-- really beautiful-- but from far away it probably appears pretty similar to black.
I'm petite, so I'm really glad that the shoulder strap on this bag can get short!

I just bought a stunning grey Rocco with silver hardware from Selfridges. I don't know the name of the colour but it's from the new season collection.

Is this color really coming out? It is gorgeous !!! If it is I want to wait for this one. How come official Alexander Wang website doesn't have it? Since last year I notice that there's always more color of rocco released but AW website won't have it. It really confuses me cause I end up miss out some of the color which I would buy too.
