Hi ladies!

Has anyone ever bought an AW bag from Bluefly.com? I snagged a black/brass Rocco yesterday before hearing about all the horror stories on the web :shocked:. Now I'm really worried about not getting it for a while, or even worse, getting a fake! I was wondering if anyone had purchased an item from them before and if you had any problems.

gladly - attaching pics of both sides. the first pic shows the less pebbly side, whereas the second pic shows more pebbles. hope this helps!

i haven't bought an AW bag from bluefly, but but i know in the recent past, tpfers have received fake balenciaga and gucci bags from bluefly. if i recall correctly, bluefly customer service also did not handle the situation so well, but i can't remember the exact details. if you search in those subforums, you should easily find the relevant threads discussing this issue.

this is not to say that your AW bag is fake. the best thing to do, once you receive the bag from bluefly, is to take your own pics and get it authenticated here. remember that bluefly has a 60-day return policy provided you don't remove their security tag, so don't worry too much at this point.

Thanks, BHmommy! :smile1: I'll take pics as soon as I get the bag. At least they shipped it today, so I'll probably get it sometime next week! Hopefully the authenticity of AW bags from Bluefly won't be an issue... (fingers crossed)

Regarding the inside zipper, mine has the same issue. I will also upload a photo of this (again iphone quality). Lastly, the Rose Gold does not appear to be peeling off.

i just got mine today (black/brass) and mine has the same issue about inside zipper :sad:

Hi!

Yes, I received the bags! I received one from Elyse Walker last Friday and one from Bluefly this Monday.

From both websites, I ordered black/brass Roccos. However, Elyse Walker sent me a black/black Rocco instead by mistake. But the bag was perfect - the leather was so soft and the pebbling was gorgeous. I thought I would return it since it wasn't the one I ordered, but decided to keep it because it was too nice! Plus, they gave me an additional 10% off because it wasn't the bag I ordered.

I received the other Rocco from Bluefly yesterday. I was actually pleased with Bluefly - they dispatched my bag the next day and it arrived in two business days. The bag itself was real, and it had the new AW card so I'm guessing it's from this season. But compared to the black/black Rocco that arrived from Elyse Walker, the quality was so bad! The leather was stiffer and the pebbling was nothing compared to the other rocco. I think it's a problem with recent Roccos. I decided to return it and sent it back yesterday.

I sent it back right away so I didn't take any pictures or anything, but I don't think the quality difference would show up on camera anyway. Hope this helped! :smile1:

I received my black rocco w/ rosegold hardware a couple of days ago, but I'm so scared to carry this bag after reading all the horrible stories regarding the piping. I bought this bag to wear it everyday and the last thing I want to do is to worry about the edges / piping constantly while carrying the bag. What to do, what to do!?!?!

I got my first Rocco around November, last year...I began to wear it about month ago and I must say that I am very disappointed, because the leather is starting to wear off and the pebbling is getting smoother... I guess that nothing lasts forever :)

Is your bag black? It just seems like everyone who says this has a black one, and I have one in Mustard so I am just curious.
